Digitally downloaded spartan won't run

I downloaded Spartan from the Slitherine website digitally. The intro runs and then the game crashes and the "Program encountered error" message pops up. I may have screwed up the installation process somehow. Can I re-download the game and try again? (Don't want to pay again of course.) I...
