What did you do differently to make it work? I have no idea why some people are seeing this issue and others are not.

You're probably right Possum ... and the thing is many people whom buy the game and play the single player version will never post on the forum.

I can see the diary's now ie before there were people that could not read them.

I like the idea of a repair mode - most games like this the first thing you do is scan your units and seek the ones out that you need to repair the most.

I'm not sure if animated gifs will really be necessary or not ...

I have become used to better artwork in wargames so perhaps it could be tweaked a bit to enhance the ambiance.
