Re: My 2 main complaints
Hi Alex, good to hear that the bug is fixed, thanks. As to the issue with the AI, I seriously doubt that an AI watching for its line of supply would be harder for the newbies. It would add to the depth of play, though. Another thing is the instability of multiplayer games when people are using diffe...

My 2 main complaints
gamestop.jpg All in one shot. The AI is stupid enough to get itself surrounded on the 19. Then it saves itself by attacking with a PzGren, damaging it in the process. When replacements arrive this will always lead to a gamefreeze in the replacement-phase. (See the PzGren with blue boundary in Bitbu...

Re: AI defence against early victory conditions
The next update will be released in two weeks. We usually modify the AI based on the feedback received from multiple users. Many of them suggested that the AI is challenging enough and I personally think that the AI is pretty solid for the new players. Try the "Bitter End" scenario and if...

Re: Help please - Multiplayer - Accepting Challenges
First freeze was very early on the first day with me as the allies. Game froze on the german turn during the impulses phase.
Second freeze was on 26. It was on the allied turn, about midday during the impulses phase. Sorry for the sparsity of info.

Re: Help please - Multiplayer - Accepting Challenges
Had my first Multiplayer challenge game. A paired "To the bitter End" vs. leobarron2000. He had to resign the first, because it froze. The second just vanished from my gamebrowser. I don't know what happened, so far. To say I'm underimpressed would be a serious understatement. Coming back,...

Re: Help please - Multiplayer - Accepting Challenges
Ok, thanks for the clarifications.
The interface implicates a password is mandatory, though.
Perhaps, an explanation "only for private challenges" could be put there?

Re: Help please - Multiplayer - Accepting Challenges
Do I get this right? 1. Log in to Multiplayer in the Game 2. Look up a Challenge I would like to accept 3. Log in to the Forum 4. Search for the player who issued the challenge 5. Send him a PM asking for the password and hope to get through the paranoia, I would show when somebody unknown asks me ...

The password connected to this account doesn't work.
Thx

3. Consider revamping your Victory Points Scheme. The "parking lot" on the other side of the Meuse is much to valuable. At the moment, leaving the map even on the last day is worth -2VP/Strength relative to not leaving, much more if not on the last day. So, evacuating that space is advisa...

Re: Bug Report - Combat Phase - Freeze Game
@AlexRadu I tried this several times and could reproduce the issue from the 1st save often when the PzLehr starting in Houffalize was chosen to be the first one to move. It crossed the Bridge. After the AI choose the next unit, the game froze. When another unit was activated first, neither it nor it...

1. Please improve the AI
This is an extremely early date for cutting of the Germans, but the AI doesn't really care for its line of supply. 2. Could you add a sticky Post "Features nice to have"?

Bug Report - Combat Phase - Freeze Game
Game just froze after the PzLehr moved from Houfalize to Bastogne Played: Allies Race to the Meuse 9:00, 18 Dec 1944 screenShot.jpg Edit: Seems to be very reproducible. Is it the crossing of the bridge, perhaps? screenShot_02.jpg Edit, again: Replayed the 2nd save and couldn't reproduce the issue. S...

Re: Some units are hidden after a move
I agree that this is an issue. Allied reinforcements are hidden this way, too. Those new to the game don't even know to look (=zoom) for these reinforcements. Zooming is not something those in the know would use in any other situation (exception: see Edit). Make the interface movable, or better move...

Re: Bug Report - Reinforcement Phase - May freeze Game
Thank you, BlackAda that info was useful. So, here is the savefile. Hopefully it lends your initial Bugreport some credibility. I believe the problem may be based on problems with local and global variables in the source code. Perhaps the code for normal Infantry and MI differ in some way? I've had ...

Bug Report - Reinforcement Phase - May freeze Game
Hi, I just encountered a potentially game freezing bug. When you play the Germans, you can put all your mechanized Infantry to full Strength without using any reinforcement Points. (You can still use them on normal Infantry). When you play as the Allies, this may freeze the game when the AI spends p...
