Thank you and thought so. Perhaps something for a future update.

Play as the other side?
Hi
Is it easy to switch the side you can play in campaigns or scenarios, ie play as the Japs in the Burma campaign?
I am not familiar with the editor and do not want to screw anything up.
Thanks

Re: New player with Order of Battle questions! :))
If we are talking about "Taking the Initiative" then the suggestions above will work. Personally I land two marines and a commando on Guvatu and take the seaplane base and the rest of my forces (Marines/Infantry only) land on the beach on Tulagi, head west with a small force and clear that...

Re: Is it just me...
Thanks guys. I was not thinking of an easier campaign and appreciate the difficulty for modelling something like I talk about. Thinking on this again, playing Erik's campaigns that permit a Draw, as opposed to a instant defeat if you do not achieve every objective, might be a way forward. That would...

Is it just me...
I have played OOB for a long while and do enjoy the game and campaigns very much. I replay them in as many different ways I can. My point is this. My troops have always fought valiantly  , overcome the enemy  , destroyed them in fact  , kept a good source of supply and have progres...

Re: What is going on with OOB?
Hi guys Thank you for your support and advice. I managed to figure out how to upload an image (sorry it is not good quality) but I cannot see why I received a defeat message at turn 12 of 22 unless something is obvious. I will use igotnukes option. Thank you https://www.dropbox.com/s/x8khykxx7gtgp5l...

Re: What is going on with OOB?
Sorry it has taken me a while to reply.
In Winter War perhaps there was a Soviet unit near the city. I will replay.
With Narvik if the issue is known then how can I progress with the campaign?
Thank you and sorry for causing any confusion.

What is going on with OOB?
Hi I updated to the latest version even though I have not bought Endseig, but plan to soon. I played Winter War right after the update and depsite winning the second scenario I received a Defeat message for no reason. I tried another campaign: Kreigsmarine, and all went well until the Norway scenari...

Re: Given up - for now (partly my own fault), but with reasons & discussion.
I continue to play the entire set of DLCs myself over and over again. I try different tactics and strategies each scenario (where possible) to see if there is a different way I can win. I also try different units or restrict myself to not purchasing certain units such as artillery or even aircraft j...

Re: Tips for new and old players alike - turn your game around if you're having problems!
Hi GabeKnight, In my experience the fighters have assisted each other in defending against an attack from another fighter but perhaps this was in just some of the campaigns or scenarios and not all; so apologies if I am misleading people here. I agree with the destroying the unit completely, but I h...

Re: Erik's campaigns
One question, I am in the middle of the German Grand Campaign v.2.7. If I update to v3.0 will I have to start the whole campaign again or will it pick up from the last saved scenario? Sorry if this has been asked before but i have trawled and could not find it. Usually, there's no need to restart t...

Re: Tips for new and old players alike - turn your game around if you're having problems!
Combining your forces is a must for most scenarios. By this I mean tanks with anti-tank guns, infantry with artillery, both supported with air combat units and do not forget the important recon aircraft to spot the enemy (fighters and bombers can also highlight the enemy but not a good use of their ...

Re: Erik's campaigns
First of all just a big thank you to Erik for these great campaigns! I love OOB and these have helped me to continue playing whilst waiting for the next DLC. One question, I am in the middle of the German Grand Campaign v.2.7. If I update to v3.0 will I have to start the whole campaign again or will...
