Re: Can someone please explain autobattles and archers?
Maybe it is an idea not to autobattle? During my playing days I remember a melee fase/archer fase and all at the same time fase. This does not happen during a manual battle, you should easily have won that battle on manual. Cloudfell is very cool to play with, but always with manual battles to take ...

Re: Economy system makes AI passive, small kingdom games slo
When trying to think of a system that would compare to birthright I guess it would be a system in which the economy is not destroyed, you build castles for defense and you have to pay coin to take over the province... The amount of coin depending on the current economy level.

Re: Give Khazoth and Sirucil a few more provinces
Just for info... Mar Ashet and Koraz already belong to Khazoth from the beginning. As for Drysledge ... it is easy to take in the beginning... It might however cause minor issues being at constant war with Cragenwaste. In my experience Cragenwaste, Hadrigel, Boruvian Empire and Brogen Hur wil...

Re: Make non-human and evil factions a bit stronger?
Sometimes it is just best to take over the capture points when you attack... Some units have just rediculous resistences. It does make it fun, actually forcing you to change tactics from time to time.

Re: Economy system makes AI passive, small kingdom games slo
I tend to compare this game with Birthright: The Gorgon's Alliance... In that game it seperated each province in holdings: Law holdings: higher allowed the tax rate to be set higher without rebellions. Guild holdings to get more gold. Temple and Source holdings for the "magic" portion of t...

Re: Give Khazoth and Sirucil a few more provinces
In almost any game I have played Sirucil only survives because the AI doesnt attack capitals and Khazoth gets steamrolled by its 3 neighbours (again except capital)... Both the nation's units are not really strong and requires quite some tactical thinking to succeed as player. Giving each more provi...

Re: Definite diplomacy bug late in game
Whenever you try and conquer loads of provinces including capitals your diplomatic rating will be at -50 for a dramatic long time (I believe 1 or 2 points per turn???), but if you are on a conquering rampage I doubt diplomacy will be of much use anyway. At least the 2 you mention are only termporary...

Re: Aevinwode 1.8
Have to agree with you on the objective... As far as the troop composition... You got 4 swordsingers, the Master of the Hunt, a few feybrunn runners combined with equal numbers of archers and cav... It took me 100+ turns to conquer Ladvia completely and get 5 Riesental, 3 Iron Barony provinces. It i...

Re: Some reflections...
Agreed on the too many units thing. perhaps A national tag of how many units a nation can have, and then add 2 or 3 per province ( this could differ per nation ). That way a small nation would Always have good stacks, and a large nation way more units, but not a full stack everywhere. Militaristic ...

Aevinwode 1.8
The campaign story as well as the listed objectives for Aevinwode seems to tell me that I am supposed to side with Sirucil in the blood war against the Human invaders. The only thing that I do not understand is the point of having us choose between Sonneneve and Sirucil for this very war. It does no...

Elidon 1.8
Discovered a minor inconsistency with Elidon. The emblem on the army "dots" is different from the actual nations flag. The army "dots" are red with 3 yellow spots, while the nation's flag has a ship. Did a fast sweep of the other nations and they seem to be ok, meaning the army a...

Re: Sovereignty tutorial problem
I did not have this problem while doing the tutorial in 1.8
1 thing I did notice was that while campaign objectives in the regular game give a white V in green to mark its completion. During the tutorial they were removed entirely from the list. This is not very consistent.

Re: Iron Barony 1.7
To be honest... I never saw myself as a real beta-tester, more someone who wanted to play a game that reminded him of a game from the past. While 1.6 was quite annoying to play at times. 1.7 actually fixed the constant crashing for me so I was a little afraid to upgrade to 1.8... But in time ...

Iron Barony 1.7
Attacks with Scavengers from Iron Barony involved result in a pop up with TEXT_MISSING, the info is still displayed in the top right corner. Normally would never use these units due to being quite weak, but I had already seen this bug while fighting the Iron Barony... Decided to report it while play...

Re: Ravengard bug 1.7
I suddenly received objective 4, while objective 1 and 3 were not yet complete.
Only after I completed all 4 objectives it gave me the option to declare victory or conquer the world.
So no bug there.

Ravengard bug 1.7
You start out the game with 3 campaign objectives. 1. Learn the Lost Cause spell 2. Be at least an Average Power 3. Be at peace with all realms Not sure if this should be a bug, but I was allowed to declare war without getting any kind of problems due to objective 3. Anyway now to the actual "b...

Averine Capital accessable only with fliers?
I discovered that during my conquest of Averine with Cloudfels that only Eagles and Harpies are allowed to enter the plains province of Elo Rance. When starting a new game temporarily with Ravengard I was able to move the entire army into the province, so I wonder if this is merely an annoying glitc...

Very good news about the campaign objective bug, thank you for sharing !! I did come across another issue, not sure if this is a bug and therefor will post this here to ask... During my conquest of Berany the province of Saint Leo became rebels, Hadrigel took over this province before I was able to ...
