Hi honvedseg
Thanks for the link, I will have a closer look when I have time to go through them all.
As for my painting I consider myself to be quite good to average, however I believe with lots of practise I can be very good at it. I have been painting Games Workshop miniatures and even sold some ...

Sorry I forgot to be more specific. When I talk about war-gaming I mostly meant the 28mm (1/72) type as to anything else. Personality I perfer 28mm as it is small enough to fit well on the battlefield and large enough to be sufficiently details. I suppose you play with 28mm is that right? I feel ...

Miniature War-gaming
Ok this is basically a question for the designers. I read about the history of Slitherine and it said that most of you guys have war-gaming history. I just want to know what type of models do you have (are they Foundry?). I always wanted a painted Roman army and I think I will get one now. Can you ...

Ok first there is quite a bit more to Gmail than 2G of space but I didn't mention it because I thought you people knew about it anyway. For more information you can always search on the internet. I am sure they will explain it much clearer than me but I will have a go anyway.

Yer you are right, no offence by most of the scams do seem to come from Nigeria. There is also the Over-payment cheque scam which someone tried to pull on me as well. Basically if you place an ad on the internet(say for a Car), usually quite a high price. The scammer contacts you and say that they ...

I think that is just a classic problem. The thing is that diplomacy is just too complicated to program so you always have over simplified version in PC games that can do strange and unpredictable thing (as in things that doesn't make sense). This is the same for most AI engines from time to time. I ...

You don't actually reply to them(the Credit card ones) by email. They send you a link which looks like its from ebay or Paypal and you click on it to bring up a new explorer page. And then you type your details in that so there is no way they know what your email address is. Plus most of them just ...

Your right its a great game. Its too bad some of the design isn't so good so that are things which you have to keep doing and slows the game down. I really wish they add some of the extra features in the latter games(Spartan etc) so it plays better. If you get the patch you can increase the speed of ...

Ideas for a Sci-fi game
Hi there
Those of you who read my posting titled 'Castaway please!!!' will know that we have been talking about Slitherine developing a Sci-fi based strategy game(as oppose to the current historical ones). I think it is a good time to pool togther some good ideas for what we have in mind now ...

Absolutely, I love strategy game that are sci-fi. Historicaly is good but lets face it, Sci-fi allows so much room for imagination. You have have something that is quite new and unique, not necessary a 4X game but something no one has done before.
