Re: Sengoku Jidai - 2022 Team Event
I'll play in the event. You can always count on me. I think the best balanced historical game that each side could play is Fourth Battle of Kwanjima. It's fun to play both sides of that one. Count me in.

Re: Cavalry of the middle of the 18th century
I like it. I have come to really enjoy the cavalry and square rules in Kolin. You really have to e mindful of where the enemy cavalry is. In many games, infantry just does not need to be mindful of cavalry unless it is a flank threat. I think this looks fun. Keeping things balanced is the tough part...

Re: Odenthus has passed away.
If you follow the progression of Odenathus's games, he covers the whole gunpowder period from medieval battles to the Boer War. As his games gat into the late 20th century, you can see how things were progressing to the trenches of WW1. In Magerstein, the British cannot just charge the Boers without...

Re: Odenthus has passed away.
Odenthus, Mark Stevens, my friend for 6+ years passed away from cancer. We played hundreds of games together. Our conversations were on politics, history, and life were as important as the games. At first, he kicked my butt all the time, but I improved to where we were 50/50 in the win/losses. We ki...

Odenthus has passed away.
My name is Andrew and one of Mark's brothers. Sadly Mark passed away today after a too brief battle against cancer aged 62. He had asked me to let his wargaming friends and combatants know when the end came as one of his great pleasures was the numerous hours, often into the early hours UK time, he ...

How about a naval war mod for Sengoku Jidai like Lepanto in P&K?
Hey, just got P&K campaigns and love Lepanto. I also love Sengoku Jidai. The Lepanto battle system would be perfect for the naval battles of Admiral Yi and his armored Turtle boats that wrecked the Japanese invasion in the Imjin War. For a mod for Sengoku Jidai. Watch the movie "The Admiral...

Lepanto style battles for the Samurai/Imjin War game would be awesome!
Hey, just got P&K campaigns and love Lepanto. This battle system would be perfect for the naval battles of Admiral Yi and his armored Turtle boats that wrecked the Japanese invasion in the Imjin War. Watch the movie "The Admiral: Roaring Tides" which is an awesome depiction of a desper...

Pike & Shot challengers needed
Hi guys, I had some issues with my challenges on my iPad, but they seem to be fixed now. It seems no one wants to play P&K much anymore. I just put in Dresden, plus a number of other challenges in P&K. It is my hobby so to speak. If any of you have time, then pick up some challenges. They se...

Does P&K and Sedoku work in China?
Hi, I am going to move to China for a better paying job. I want to buy a WIN 10 tablet and get the updated P&K and Sendoku and FOG II. I know China does control Internet access. Will these games challenges work in China? I bet a million pounds this has never been asked or thought of before. Lol....

Re: Anglo-Scots Wars
Hey, Snugglebunnies. I have cleared the room on my challenges for us to play the Battle I'd Pinkie since you are so interested in the Scottish Wars. Maybe we can play Cullodin and Falkirik 1746 too.

Re: Anglo-Scots Wars
Very interesting. I'll have to check out that book. Hey, Snugglebunnies, we used to play a lot of challenges on P&K. Where did you go? I miss our matches. We could play the Battle of Pinkie from the challenges since this period interests you.

Re: No loyalty to iPad users by Slitherine
Apple never sends emails to its users. Slithering sends daily emails on challenges. PThey could have warned us. So many lost their games and the money they spent on them. It is not fair. My friend Waterheady loved your games so much. We ran 15 to 20 challenges at a time against each other. Noe he ca...

Re: No loyalty to iPad users by Slitherine
Slithering daily emails us about the next turn or updates on our challenges. They could have easily emailed us about not updating. Apple never emails us. They just update, but does not thoroughly explain what are the concecoinces of updating. Slithering is more active in contacting us. Slithering wa...

Re: No loyalty to iPad users by Slitherine
For the record, I love Slitherine's games. I'm addicted to Pike & Shot and would love an update as all those who lost games. Thank you for your great stuff. I just really wish you would make your stuff available on iTunes. It would pay off. Just disappointed by your policy on this. I hope you wi...
