Division C Result
mcfcivo Arab Conquest 638 - 684 AD - 24%
Defeated
looping Spanish 900/1049 AD - 51%
Great game Franck, started with a realignment of the front lines away from some rough terrain then a long slog around a town in the centre. The better quality Arab foot I think made the difference in the end!
cheers,
Andy.

Division B
Holien - Carthaginian (Hannibal in Africa) 202 BC w/Numidian Defeats MarcoCato75 - Roman 105 - 25 BC with Numidian allies 22% to 48%
The Romans had the terrain advantage with a nice wide large hill in the middle of their zone and a smaller hill on their right flank. Hannibal knew he could not defeat the Romans in a straight forward slugging match so swung his Cavalry and main infantry force to take the smaller hill on their left flank. The Roman Cavalry was defeated, but took 2 operational Carthage Cavalry units off the map with them, chasing the baggage train no doubt. Also the Roman skirmish force was destroyed bit by bit leaving the Romans lined up on their steep hill. The Carthage Heavy Artillery had slowly been moved into position on the smaller hill and laid waste to one unit of Roman elephants and started work on the second unit. This with the loss of his secure flank finally persuaded the Roman general to advance off the hill, but by that time the damage had been done and the Carthage Cavalry was upon him.
Thank you to Marco for an interesting game and my first report in TDC

Division A
Questar17 - Latin Greece 1205-1311 AD with Seljuq Turkish (West) 1155-1307 AD ally beats Sennacherib - Aragonese 1200-1274 with French 1155-1319 ally 70:35 (95:35)
On a quite narrow battlefield limited by lots of trees on one flank and a stream on other one, both players selected a lot of archers for shooting from the woods. And seems it was a mistake of both sides.
At the beginning both armies tried to call opponents attack by maneouvers being on defensive position. After an opponents decision to go back with the whole army, i decided to move forward all my troops and start to shoot with my bowmen and horse archers his 1st line. Eventually opponent's army started countershooting and damaging my horse archers + move forward knights & armored spearmen. After some inaccurate moves of attacking my horse archers, some his spearmen and knights were on a position to be flanked by my troops and were broken quite fast. Since a lot of brutal melee combats start everywhere having some points and troops quantity advantage i had more opportunities to keep the points difference 7-20 points on a length of the battle. So of course the battle were more equal until last turn when by breaking 5-6 units i increased the difference till 35 points.
Thank you for the game

Re: TDC - Classical - Posting Results
Hope everyone is enjoying the latest score rankings. For a bit of fun, I figured I would give a little shoutout to some of the divisions and people.
Quick Finisher Award: Round of applause for player SgtOgre who is the first Classical player to complete all 9 of his matches before the Classical moderator (me) could even finish setting up a spreadsheet to record the scores!
And with an impressive score of 7 wins/2 losses and over 600 points, SgtOgre could well be on their way to winning Division E.
Quick Finisher Honorable Mention: Anderacos11 came very close to matching the Ogre's record with 7 completed matches. Another impressive result for Division E.
Thirst Award: Division E is clearly overcome with bloodthirst as they have collectively completed more matches than any other division. No small feat when we consider the larger army size (1600 points) in Classical. Blood for the blood throne indeed.
To the Bitter End Award: I'd just like to point out that there has yet to be a - single - draw in Classical, despite the many matches finished already. I commend everyone's determination to fight until a decisive result is achieved, regardless of what that result could be. Very impressive.
The Big Snooze Award: And the winner of this one is........Geffalrus. While not the only one in Division A to fail to post a result yet, his pick of the Greco-Bactrians clearly betrays an unsound mind that will produce nothing but ridiculous strategies and questionable tactics.
That's all I have for now. I'll think up some fun new awards to bestow when results are next posted. For now, I wish everyone the best of luck on their impact rolls, and may the melee be ever in your favor.

Div B result
Triarii French 888-1049 with Viking 790-899 allies defeats Tomoegozen Byzantine 963 - 987 with Arab (Syria/Iraq) 890 -1008 allies 42%-8%
Fortuitous disposition in a heavily terrain influenced game. The Viking and French went heavy on armoured infantry and big LI screen which where all deployed to their left centre and left and faced a gap between woods and rough ground. The Byzantine cavalry where deployed in that gap. The French & Viking armoured foot ground forward against the terrain restricted Byzantine cavalry while their armoured cavalry sat on a hill opposite the wood and prevented the quality arab foot debouching and intervening in the battle,
