Division A
Lysimachos (Indo-Skythians ) beats Valdavia (Indo-Parthians ) 64% - 56%
A real nail-biter!
Only the last roll of dices decided a very close match ...
Many kudos and honors to my opponent for such a valiant stand!

I have just been looking in the multi-player lobby of "Field of Glory 2" and there are quite a few matches still there issued on February 1st and soon after. Can everyone look in there and make sure that you have not missed a match that is intended for you. If they just sit there then they will eventually drop off the system and that just creates more work and some confusion for the players involved. I appreciate that things can be a bit hectic in the first few weeks of the tournament and that you quickly have enough matches to play at any one time. However, there is nothing to stop you accepting a challenge so that it is ready to play and then sending a PM to your opponent saying that there will be a slight delay before you start. At least then the player who took the trouble to set up the challenge will know that the game will be starting soon.
It would also be very helpful if all players followed the basic format for issuing a challenge as given here . . .
Example
Division A
stockwellpete's Armenians (Tigranes) challenges hidde's Atropatenes. Password is hidde. PM sent.
Most players are doing this but some of you are not and that is contributing to some of the challenges being missed. I am also not convinced that everyone is sending a PM to their opponent when making a challenge. The quick way to do this is when you have sent your post on the forum is then click on the "PM" icon that is to the left of your completed post. Then all you do is replace your own name in the "To" box with your opponent's name and then send it. It takes less than a minute to do.

I have sent reminders to all players receiving a challenge that is still sitting in the multi-player lobby from 1st February asking them to start as soon as possible. Really, challenges should not be left in there for more than a week. I will gradually work through the challenges listed there that are over 7 days old.
