The 80% Defensive spearmen boys employing cutting edge Stone Age technology managed to hold off the bronze wielding barbarians, with the help of a very big hill, at great cost in lives and mental wellbeing. The mighty Ass Wagons of Sumer had their moments but ultimately proved less effective than the death machines that had been hoped for.

The result was a bit unfair against my opponent that played a good game. Some rallies in the last turn lowered his final score, but the battle was decided anyway, with many enemy units on the way to be routed with flanks/rear attacks ! Carthaginian cavalry won the battle on the left flank, and the situation in the centre became critical, also for phalanx units. GG !

The Egyptian cut off an attack on their north segment by Picked Swordsmen and then swung into a north to south line that produced several flank attacks. The Sea Peoples responded strongly but were unable to overcome their early losses.

There was some tough fighting between Swiss pikemen on either side, but otherwise my Swiss troops were able to defeat the enemy forces without too much difficulty, even though his crossbowmen made good use of rough terrain. It was a well fought battle.
