We are nearing the end of the war now!

I present you with a screenshot of Estonia.

Simple setup:

1. March from Riga through Estonia
2. Use naval landings to attack Tallinn and support your southern attack
3. Bolshevik forces are ready to begin creating unrest in Russia. Use them wisely!

Fairly easy scenario (after a good pounding against tanks in Arras 17), but be prepared to fight hard within Petrograd - those Soviets need German help. FAST!

This is (probably) the biggest map made so far for WWI, and should be the 2nd when the campaign is done - UK18 is meant to be massive. Size is 40x40.

Caporetto in Italy and Cambrai in the West should follow soon, and then Ludendorff's Offensives of 1918 (+ stuff like Paris and UK)

This is the clarification for easy in WWI: Still very hard, you will be cursing the weather very much! - I just MVed it - lost the DV by 1 TURN (I set rain to 25% - why were 55% of the turns rain then?)

This scenario is comparable in dificulty to the 'Barbarossa' Scenario (or at least I feel that way)
Schlieffen is similar to 'Rush to Moscow'
Brusilov is similar to 'Bagration' and other near-impossible scenarios.

Caporetto is done, Cambrai is coming. Tomorrow I will show the largest amount of WWI tanks you will see in any scenario (probably ~25)

Someone post, or I may order Stormtroops into your houses to scare you onto my forums! (Just kidding, but still post heaps! )

I'm posting! No Stormtroopers please!

I'm playing GTPG now but I have been lurking around your MODs and this one is next on my list.

I have already been cursing the (real) weather for days now, 55% rain would be an improvement! A few more days like this and those Stormtroopers will need a boat to get to my house...

Anyway, some non-sensical sillyness:

By 1917 Fokker Dr Is (Red Barons) have been invented - not too hard to fly to your house with them

Should have the first screens of Uk18 before the weekend is over!

All right, all right. You are spared from the stromtroopers. But, the tanks are on their way, anyway. Sorry, but it is impossible to stop them now. You know, they are very basic types, belonging to the first generation of tanks, not even equipped with radios...

Cannot wait to see it! But, I am a bit unsure, does it refer to the UK or the Ukraine? Any hints on this?

UK18 is an invasion of the British Isles. Warning: crossing the channel is harder than conquering London! (There are very few troops on land, but a lot of Brit ships.

I demand a Zeppelin! These newfangled 'flying crates' will be nothing more than a passing fad!

Oh, and about mr. Fokker... He actually moved to Germany in 1913 after having flown his first aircraft in 1911 in Holland, right in time for the war. Actually, his best contribution to the 'war effort' was the interrupter gear for the Eindeckers, which he didn't even invent himself, but it allowed the (quite average for its day) Fokker aircraft to be very effective in attacking other planes, and the 'Fokker Scourge' was the result.

And he wasn't the only Dutch airplane designer...His competitor (Koolhoven) built this for the British, and surely four wings are better than a measly three!

Zeppelins are used as long-range recon tools early in the war - in 1915-6, enemy planes start appearing, causing trouble to them. By Arras 17 all Zeppelins should have been decommisioned in favour of Fokker Dr I's and E.IIIs.

Horde of tanks awaits you in Cambrai (the fun is when you get them yourself on turn 11! - These are captured!)
Note their immense power.

The Red Baron is present in this scenario, and with 450 experience, should be able to bomb anything and then WIPE IT FROM THE FACE OF EARTH!

Those captured tanks you get later are very useful in coming scenarios (Michael, Georgette, Paris18) - make sure you survive long enough.

Warning: Gassing tanks is not very effective! (Gassing anything else kills it quickly)

Good luck finding me.
First off I assume those tanks are not amphibious. I live on an island so they might have some problems getting here.
Even if they are amphibious, since they are "basic types" they probably don´t have a compass, or maps.
And it's a "small" island...

Hope you convert those tank and aircraft to a 3D unit, as they seems kind of odd there...

hs1611, How do the tanks get ashore in Uk18? They use landing craft and battleships. I have a bunch of those I could use against you  . The whole idea of the stormtroops and now tanks is to make people post here, as I was concerned that this thread was dying.

Land-Marine, I did think about the 3d models, but couldn't find any decent pictures for them :(

Op. Michael begins tomorrow, with Georgette ans Paris 18 following closely.

Tests of Cambrai have shown that a tank is impossible to kill with no suppression using just infantry - artillery it once and your day changes significantly (in short, artillery kills tanks)

Considering how many new unit graphics there are, there is little point to change 1, without changing the other 20+.

Thanks for the help though.

I can tell you now - there are over 120 Russians in the Brusilov Offensive, double the amount of the Jutland screen!

Uk18 is going to have a mini Jutland incorporated to it. Also, you only have enough landing craft for 7 units at a time (so you have to keep some it the France part of the Map)

Uk18's map also covers more area than Sealion45 (the map is huge - larger than India is planned!)

Yes, you have to capture Edinburgh!

This scenario is very different to most others, as much of the fighting is done at sea! If you get 7 or 8 units ashore, you should be able to capture everything you need (if you have time, that is). Beware, the enemy has Zeppelins and Poison Gas to attack you with, as well as their usual stuff.
