Lysimachos (Catalan Company) 22/48 vs Cavehobbit (Ordonnance French) 39/36
I'd like to say that superior generalship earned the victory to the Catalans but, in fact, it was only the broken and hilly terrain that disordered the enemy HF, while greatly favouring the Almughavar MF, to bring the day in my favour.
Honour to Cavehobbit for his strong resistance!

Div B Result
Rexhurley Medieval French (later) 53/42
Claymore Swiss 3/45
More of a French Fry than a battle for Rex's troops. Now I know why they are called "Medieval French (later)" Later is what they say as the run off (their CinC led the way)
The Cheesies hid behind a bevvy of lights to protect the advancing pike wall. Meanwhile the French Scots did Ok in ruff, but the Knights where ineffective. And the X bows just added to body count.
Thanks to Rex for an enlighted discussion on the state of NZ and Australian military affairs.
Cheers, Claymore

Now you know why I hid in the plantation, Rex!
It's still not too late for that screenshot, claymore.

CheAhn (Latin Greek) 18/52 vs cavehobbit (French) 44/44
After a good time in Scotland the Greeks went to France. The northwestern european holiday is turning out well. Next stop England.

flatsix518 (Mamluk) 24/35 vs solly (SHNC) 50/45
This was a much, much closer game than the score. I think I outplayed solly the first third of the game. Solly completely outplayed me the mid third of the game. And then we sort of tied on generalship the last third. It all came good for me and I got in a few extra licks to pad my score a bit. It really was a nail biter for me.

Greetings44 (Wallachian) 30/43 vs Lydianed (Mamluk Later) 33/32
The map had a water feature in the centre with a river running from it on my right to the base line. Our armies lined up in the centre and along the river and twanged a few arrows. Which the Mamluks came off worse having fewer missile troops. A couple of impulsive charges from the Mamluks were repulsed in the centre. My attack across the river stalled however a fortunate break off let me redirect the attack with more success, aided by some fortunate dice.
Thanks Lydianed for an interesting game.

kmaher (Anglo Irish Early) 42/47 vs MatsuHiroshi (Santa Hermanda Neuvo Castilian) 40/40
Not much between us. Fought on an undulating marshy field my Irish got off to a very slow start and I was well behind for the first half of the battle. Made a decent breakthrough mid game when I managed to recover my collapsing right flank while my galloglaigh withstood the onslaught on my left. Could easily have gone the other way.

Sorry Aristides as per my PM I screwed up thinking we had played this one before my apologies game reset pw Aristides as I said in my PM also if I win initiative I will resign and reset the match until you win it so you have a chance to reset the map to your choice.
Again my profuse apologies for the cockup.
