OK, all games are complete except for Aristides, who hasn't finished a single one Not sure what to do, but either way we will move on till the Autumn/Fall season by the end of the week, and games not finished will be void.

Noticed that Aristides had issued 2 challenges on the 5th September.

I am guessing they are for this tourney as there are no armies?

If that is the case, some players haven't picked up the challenge?

I will be out of town in Aspen Colorado for a Rugby tournament from Wednesday to Monday afternoon. I will be answering any challeneges etc on either Monday evening or Tuesday.

It is all a bit of a shamozzle. Aristides should have fought grudge, who instead fought somone else, and deeter, which actually happened. Also my records indicate that everyone has defended twice except phlewis and Aristides I'm not sure how that happened as everyone except Aristides attacked twice. It would appear to be too complicated.

Next season we will just have everyone attack twice, same as this season, but you have to fight as many challengers as you get (thinks eric will be twiddling his thumbs ), that should stop this happening again.

So if Aristides attacks Pat then he will have at least had two battles, don't mind if it runs into next season, and the rest of us can get on with bashing heads.

Aristedes didn't mention that both camps were lost. I also lost an Allied TC if that matters. He was running Mauryan Indians. He was at 49/51 for a few turns while I was better off. Couldn't manage those last two points in time.

Thanks for that Deeter. Yes it makes a difference, +5 for killing a TC. Really it was a bit of a disater for both of you as Aristides got -5 and you got -67 scores.

OK, Just to make sure..I can still use my Major army in the 3rd qtr..is that correct and then have to rest them in the spring as I used them all three seasons (and winter)? (sorry, trying to type with a blown out shoulder from the rugby tournament.... ):roll:

Also..you are stuck with your Merc Army till Winter right? don't want to run into a surprise


Reading the original rules..I have Hellinic (sp) with Sec mercs....does that mean I can use ANY Hellinic army this season? I know it is easy but sometimes I just am not getting it...That way I can use (well everyone knows they are Spartans by now) next year. Since I can only use my Mercs ONCE this season, does that mean I have to use Spartans and then NOT use then next year...Or can I use another hellinic army and my mercs and keep my Spartans alive next season?

Ummmm.... Yes, silly bugger, Yes (unless it happens to be naked), Yes (although they may be average for a change), No and Yes (you could use another hellenic army then your 300 would be good for spring )

Not sure what has happened but hadn't received any news about this campaign until I had a quick look.

250pts you are taking the mick. I suppose I could field an IC, 2 x fc and a tc for a larff.

I am agst handicapping in a big way, if I do lose it doesn't really feel like a loss and players I have played agst and have won do not really feel like "true" victors.

Will have to think about army choices now. Shame you have to pay for a general.
