Re: MKWS CAMPAIGN 2013
With only 2 points between 2nd and 3rd I believe.
I just need to take 2 more points of Tim before he broke my army.
Great thank you to all my opponents. I enjoyed every game and they were played in great good nature. Tim's ship help do for me.

Using mercenaries to win a Renaissance competition seems somehow very historically appropriate!

Re: MKWS CAMPAIGN 2013
Hi Everyone
It was great to see you all over the weekend, I have sent all the results to Kevin to post up as I am still having problems with table so they'll be up soon. From our team perspective thanks to Peter, Hammy, Graham, Dave, Clive & Ian who helped us out and enabled the competition to go ahead with no byes, and to the other members of their teams who also helped out in FOG am and Flames of War.
I am now starting to look at next year and will get that out in the next couple of weeks (to allow people to paint up armies for next year if they want and obviously did this year) so any suggestions make them quickly, they will all be considered
Cheers
Alasdair

Re: MKWS CAMPAIGN 2013
For MK 2013: no impact foot/salvo.. Make people play with "ordinary troops"... Nothing to do with me wanting an excuse to do a samuria or similar army
Or something along the idea of variants of choice of army and each version must be played at least once but not more than 2 times?

Re: MKWS CAMPAIGN 2013 - Now with Added Results
Here are the Team results:

Here are the results of the individual pools:

Is the use of 5 ringers by one team in a single competition a record?
If you follow Nigel's Japanese theme suggestion for next year "The 7 Samurai" might be a more appropriate team name...

Re: MKWS CAMPAIGN 2013
Hi,
There appears to be a mistake in the table as Dave and I can not both be joint 3rd place when there is 12 point between us.
Next year slight difference to Nigel's request as I would allow Impact foot but only for non-European armies. I would suggest one period to be any non-European army which does not have mounted troops in any of its lists - this would not include Dragoons - This would allow Japanese, Aztec's, Eastern Woodland Culture etc. armies to be used.

Re: MKWS CAMPAIGN 2013
Sorry Bob, I've corrected that. i've also updated it to show the correct year...

Re: MKWS CAMPAIGN 2013
Kevin,
I think you need to check all the figures in the table as they do not add up correctly. In round 1 the Three Musketeers got 38 points and not 35. Also the total scores for Central London and Forlorn Hope should be 2 higher (CL - 55 + 54 + 66 = 175 ; FH - 43 + 74 + 56 = 173)

Hi Alasdair,
thanks for organising the comp. What's planned for next year so I can start painting?

They read fine on my widescreen laptop but not on my IPad. Try changing the screen size if you can or follow these links to the original pictures:

Unfortunately, this a work pc I'm on so those links to photos are blocked and I can't change screen size either as it screws up other stuff I'm supposed to be working on. Pooh. Ah well, I'll have to wait until next month when I can see it all at home.

Re: MKWS CAMPAIGN 2013
On sorting out my terrain for Games Expo I found a piece of terrain that is not mine. I think it may be long to Chris who I played in the last game.
Can anyone confirm whether they lost a piece of terrain at Campaign.
