Also, the I-16 has a move of 12 and fuel of 25 - in other words, out one move, attack and then back to the airfield. Is that intended? It got annoying but if it's an attempt to get planes to do just that, then OK.

Re: Red Fury: a red Army campaign (demo 22/04 released)
I just want to ask whether the scenarios have been tested for balance? The reason I ask is because I got the 17/17 DV for the first one but the second one saw the Japanese killing me and with all their artillery I couldn't see how I could possibly win and gave up on turn 10. Before I try again, can you confirm that it is my crappy play that lost it and not because the scenario is in early beta?

Re: Red Fury: a red Army campaign (demo 22/04 released)
That comes from the field in the scenario parameters 'Sides' tab, so is easy to fix. BTW the opening scenario of this demo has the USSR with Axis Turn 1 etc - that can be fixed easily, too.I think it would be much more irritating if at some point in this campaign, after the player's turn, the screen displays axis turn 1 and the axis being the USA.
If you know how to edit Graphics\Overlays\strplates.png you can do this.I would actually prefer red strength markers for the USSR.

The values of the I-16 are actually those of the vanilla efile. In the meantime it has been raised somewhat (25 to 36) as we came to the same conclusion last night.El_Condoro wrote:I just want to ask whether the scenarios have been tested for balance? The feedback for Khasan i received is that the scenario is not easy but winnable. Not only the units but the unyielding belief that communism prevails should be sufficient
There are missions that will be plain easy (and that is intended), some will be (much) harder like Khasan.
In scenario 1 i bought an armoured train, 1 anti-air train, 2 pieces of artillery, 2 Bt-2's, 1 T-28, 1 T-26, 1 T-37 and 3 infantry units (without transport) and you are donated a preplaced SE unit.

Thanks for the help! I tried the sides tab and now i get allies at every player's turn. Will also check out those strplates.png.El_Condoro wrote:That comes from the field in the scenario parameters 'Sides' tab, so is easy to fix. I would make it say "Russians" or "USSR" or something like that. Thanks for the help! I tried the sides tab and now i get allies at every player's turn
OK, I'll give Khasan another go - perhaps I was too impatient. I cleared out the north easily enough but those big 105mm artillery that the Japanese have were the real killers and their fighter bombers seem to be able to do serious damage to my hot T-28s.
Re: Red Fury: a red Army campaign (demo 22/04 released)
Ivanov and i are polishing off the sharp edges of the scenario's. So when those 4 scenario's are done, and if Kerloc approves, i will update the 4 scenario demo.El_Condoro wrote:I would make it say "Russians" or "USSR" or something like that. Thanks for the help! I needed someone with an independant view at each scenario. I always know which enemy units to expect and what is going to happen and that is ofcourse not always an advantage towards playability for every kind of player. I believe this approach will result in better balanced scenario's.

In Red Fury are Stalin's territorial claims in 1940 a continuation of politics by other means.

Thanks to VPaulus' help the flags got corrected. Mine were too bright and somehow lacking the black border.

Before we get to 1945, alot needs to be done and it gives me sufficient time to think about it thoroughly.ivanov wrote:What about 1945?

I wasn't suggesting a happy Socialist World Republic. I was thinking more in one sad Stalinist World Republic.ivanov wrote:Von Paulus - I agree that the creation of one happy Socialist World Republic could be an interesting option

For the public relations purposes of our party, I think that Socialist Republic sounds more sublte and masses of the global proletariat will simply love itVPaulus wrote:I wasn't suggesting a happy Socialist World Republic. Ahah. I see you know the office.

Sometimes it's not so easy to grasp all the nuances of the agenda. Like for example the one which states, that the peace loving Red Army, is the most offensive oriented army of the globe

There, there. For someone who comes from Barcelona, I'm sure between P.O.U.M., PCE, CNT and not mentioning the Durutti Collumn, you'll manage to get some inspiration to "grasp" all the nuances.
