I would burry the hope for this. There is not enough interest for this. The community is hopless lost in ww2.
If you like look at my peoples General Homepage. There are many campaigns about modern war, but the graphic is very old.

We are not lost in WW2, its just too difficult to create new units, new UI, new sounds, new anims, etc FROM SCRATCH.
Keep in mind most of us have a life also: responsibilities, job, family and we are not employees from Siltherine, so everything we do is just for fun and the community. At least in my case, to create WW2 stuff already consumes me a lot of time, I cant even think in a mod who practically would be a new game.
And besides, the game is losing players and interest as the months go by, so the modders interest eventually will fall.

You can not borrow units who is already done? ex from peoles general the Devore´s Peg Red Danger Europe? There are well done made Leopard 2A6, Panzerhaubitse 2000 and so on,,,,,???? :)
