Thanks Very much Keiron. As ianiow has had to leave due to work commitments, you can join up with "The team with no name" (at the mo) UK & Ireland team. Stones1985 is our captain and so we will probably need to reshuffle our periods etc a little

Hi Guys

This is just a thought. Instead of a mass pm being sent to all possible Canadian players. Why don't you send one at a time and ask for the reason why they do not wish to enter. If you send it one at atime. It will also show you if that player has picked up and possibly read the message.

I have no idea why but it seems nowadays people in general, will not acknowledge an email etc and reply with the reason why they are not interested or no reply whatsoever. I find that downright discourteous but it does show the type of world we are living in.

I would contact angusosborne and Triarii, as they are putting together a European team and 2 x ROTW teams.

This should then make it 16 teams, so 4 groups of 4. Top 2 go through to QF.

Greetings Gentlemen

Hopefully you have now a team name and team emblem, created your teams, who is playing in what period and with what army and who is your captain. Do not post this information yet.

World Team Championship - At the moment we have 3 x UK & Ireland teams, 2 x French, 2 x USA, 2 x Chinese, 2 x Italian,
1 x New Zealand and 1 x Spanish. We then have enough players to form 1 European team and 2 Rest of the World teams, Triarii/Mike and angusosborne/Angus are creating these teams. 16 teams in total.

Group Stage

Either we will have 3 rounds at 2 weeks each or we may have all 3 rounds to be played simultaneously. Not sure yet

Only 1 team from one nation will play in each group of 4 teams. So you will not have 2 or even 3 teams of the same nation playing in the same group.

10th September to 24th October

Knockout Stage

KO rounds will probably be 17 or 18 days long

Top 2 go through to the quarter finals.

Quarter Final

25th October to 11 November

Semi Final

12 November to 30 November

Final

1 December to 19 December

Dear players, last update regarding WTC.

Apologies for limited time but we had been waiting on some additional news, which never arrived.

WTC - 24 teams

28th July to 8th September - Recruiting

10th September to 24th October - Group Stage Games

25th October to 8th November - Knockout Stage - Round 1

9th November to 23rd November - Quarter Finals

24th November to 8th December - Semi Finals

9th December to 23rd December - Final

The above is based on having 24 teams taking part again so it could change.

There is a possibility, with a bit of tweaking and co-operation from you guys, we'll have 20 teams. This would enable more players who may be reserves to actually play.

We can then set up a reserves pool which can be used by anybody.

If any of you chaps are playing in other tournaments. Could you ask your opponent if they may be interested please.

We will have enough, UK, USA, French, Chinese and Italian players but other nationalities such as Canada, Central and South America, Asia, Australia and Europe would be excellent. Just point them towards the entries topic in WTC forum.

This would be a great help and we could well hit 24 teams again.
