I decided to replay it first since the Russian translation for this mod came out (special thanks to Estherr )) Since I already knew that tanks in this mod are not such a force, I decided to bet on aviation artillery and infantry ;) Let's see what happens next ;)

Well, the alliance of England and France just need to reduce the tanks of England a little))) Also, the loss of the object leads immediately to defeat, and it seems that you can retreat to save the army)))

How Azerbaijani Army T-54B and T-55 veteran tanks fought in Karabakh

Image

During the war over Nagorno-Karabakh, the Azerbaijani army used not only modern T-90S and T-72s of various modifications, but also old Soviet first generation tanks.

We are talking about T-55, T-55A and a small number of T-54B tanks. Earlier it was thought that about 100 of these vehicles were in storage bases. It is quite possible that this was the case. But after the beginning of combat operations the veteran tanks were returned to service. Apparently they were used by the newly deployed combined arms brigades and were operated by mobilized reservists.

Judging by the materials that have appeared on the web, they were used like self-propelled artillery guns. Fortunately, the 100-mm D-10T2S rifled gun was capable of engaging targets at a maximum range of 15,000 meters with various types of high-explosive shells, including those with pre-packaged high-explosive shells.

These tanks were used in secondary areas of the front, where the sides limited their actions mainly to firing contacts. They were moved behind high earthen berms and did not fire at direct fire, so due to the enemy's lack of effective reconnaissance and target designation equipment, they were virtually invulnerable. At least, so far there is no evidence that it was possible to hit at least one such tank.

Compared to the classic SAUs, such as the 2C1 and 2C3, there is one big advantage - more powerful armor. A curious detail: in all the photos the armored vehicles have no anti-aircraft machine guns DShKM. This suggests that the Azerbaijani command was confident that no attacks from the air would follow.

It is known that a grand military parade is planned in Baku. It would be interesting to see if these old tanks, which contributed to the victory during the battle for Nagorno-Karabakh, will march in formation.

So the war between Azerbaijan and Armenia is not accurately depicted ) It seemed to me from the abundance of modern troops that Armenia is an oil-rich country that has been buying various modern weapons around the world for many years in order to pay for the defeat in the first Karabakh war and return the lost Karabakh and nearby territories))) How the Armenian army rushed to my Turkish one is simply amazing ( this is despite the fact that in reality the Russian Federation always gave them something out of date ) Instead of going to help the Azeris, I had to repel a full-fledged mass Armenian offensive))) The Azerbaijani group at the military base should be strengthened against the Armenian infantry with artillery and aviation + T-72 В tanks, they are clearly weak and helpless)

I passed the second mission without any "Turkey surrendered", as I understand it, a diamond victory is needed there (the capture of all important points and the destruction of Kurdish warehouses) with a simple victory, triggers and scripts do not seem to work and defeat is counted, the company suddenly ends even without an inscription)

Hello my friend Akkula ! Judging by the translation, the time of action in the 3rd map is the border between Turkey and Armenia))) Where are the Turkish border guards , barbed wire and minefields ? ))) There is an ancient enmity between Armenians and Turks , and here is not a border , but some kind of a passing yard ) It also turns out that the insidious Armenians have already attacked the territory of Turkey and it is a member of NATO ))) Where are the Russian border guards who guard the borders of Armenia and the peacekeeping contingent (Russians, Turks ) under the agreement ?

In the 90s, in Armenia, on the border with Turkey, there were dozens of tanks dug in, along a chain, at a distance of 40-50 meters from each other.. The trunks were looking at Turkey.. Of course, there were no crews there, apparently their role was, in the future, to be used as a pillbox.

The whole of Armenia apparently decided to attack the Azerbaijani base))) Having fought off the pressing numerous enemy , the territory of Turkey was freed from the impudents , but the mission failed ) Tell the author why are T-55 А tanks on the tops of the mountains And they are on the plain just to destroy enemy armored personnel carriers in modern warfare))) Sending Turkish aviation to help the defending azeris also does not bring success, so there are Armenian air defenses everywhere))) Where are the Turkish airborne forces ?

Yes , my friend works there only A Decisive Victory ( for old times ' sake , pay tribute to the unsurpassed classics for old times' sake called it a diamond victory in the last message) paying tribute to the classic Panzer General ) I lowered the difficulty of the game, but the Armenians again overpowered me with a crowd, killing all the Azers

Instead of two Azerbaijani T-55 tanks, put better mountain infantrymen on the top of the mountains, they will be much more useful there))) I managed to land only one Turkish unit while repelling a massive attack on the territory of Turkey itself )

P.s.
And the question is why does exe show 32 bits if I have Windows 10 Х 64 or there is no version of Panzer Corps 64 bits ?

The Uzbek army is modernizing artillery tactics taking into account the conditions of modern conflicts
Uzbekistan, Tashkent — AN Podrobno.uz . The Uzbek army is actively introducing innovations in combat tactics, focusing on the conditions of modern local military conflicts. For example, the conflict in Ukraine has shown the importance of strengthening counter-battery warfare and the use of unmanned aerial vehicles during the adjustment of artillery strikes
Image
These innovations were worked out on practical shooting conducted by military gunners at the Kattakurgan training ground in the Samarkand region. The exercises were supervised by the Minister of Defense of Uzbekistan Bahodir Kurbanov.

The main purpose of the training was to coordinate the actions of artillery scouts and fire spotters using unmanned aerial vehicles. The transfer of artillery and missile troops from different military districts was also worked out in a short time.

The shooting took place both during the day and at night. As part of the 6-kilometer battle line, all types of artillery guns were used — from mortars to multiple rocket launchers.

I think that is one of the revolutionary aspects of modern war. The war in Ukraine has shown how critical are the scout drones to adjust the artillery fire. The accuracy now is really scary, I've seen a lot of videos of single shots hitting armored vehicles like snipers
The precision also helps to reduce the amount of rounds fired, so the can fire the same amount but destroying much more targets than in the past.

I played the Caucasus single card again on 08.08.2008 and questions arose why the Georgian artillery can 't fire at Russian ships and landing barges at all ? Also, the Su-25 attack aircraft refuses to sink at least barges) Specially pulled with the capture of the last point so that the entire 58th army of the Russian Federation would appear))) The rest is in the screenshots )

I also played for Ossetia and Abkhazia again in the hope that something has changed ) As a result , all the targets , including Tbilisi , were captured and the enemy was completely destroyed , including the garrisons ) I didn't have time to get only to the most remote village)) It would not be bad to add prizes and Easter eggs to this mission ;)

Georgian Navy. Rocket boat "Dioscuria". Before and after. 2008.
The missile boat "Dioscuria" (formerly "P.17 Ipoploiarchos Batsis") was donated by Greece in 2004 and joined the Georgian Navy as a flagship. He participated in joint exercises on the Black Sea more than once, visited various Black Sea ports with a friendly visit, including the Russian one - Novorossiysk ...
For various reasons during the 2008 war, he still went to sea to fulfill a special mission, but after receiving combat damage, he returned to the port of Poti, which he could not leave. But most likely, the team still expected to put it into operation and successfully evacuate the ship to the port of Batumi, where the remnants of the Georgian fleet left on the night of August 9, 2008. Otherwise, they would have destroyed their ship themselves, as did the team of another missile boat "Tbilisi" - which also probably had combat damage during the "special mission"... Unfortunately, there is very little information about her and they are all contradictory, so it's too early to write about her...

In the mountains, in hard-to-reach areas where the use of other types of transport is limited or impossible when performing service and combat tasks, pack caravans are often more efficient and practical, for example, the use of helicopters. I had to reduce the complexity of the game))) At the same time, for a decisive victory, it is also necessary to take the island, but there is no landing, only by sea and Greek ships are waiting there and the garrison of the island is numerous)))

Again the inscription Turkey surrendered and the game ends as there are two warehouses not destroyed ) It seems that a decisive victory is needed here again , since just a victory does not work ) There was nothing like that with the Kurdish warehouses !
