Ok all! I'm wanting to do a tournament on the Early Byzantines and her Enemies. Useing the same formate as before. Use a 1000 pts. but only build to 600 and no more.
I've only found 10 enamies for the Early Byzantines time period, 493-550 AD.The big problem is how many Byzantine players we should have?
If we use 10 Byzantine and 10 enemy players that would make 10 games for each player, Still a lot of matches but I do want people that will try to get thier games played in a 5 week period. That would only be 2 matches a week each to get played. This is a bit of a comittment for your time but I don't want it to streach out so long every one gets tired of the wait.
So please give me some feed back and see if we can get 20 people that would like to play. Tell your friends you play on line and see if they would like to play. I'm hopeing to do this through each of the Byzantine armies they have in FoG in order from first to last.
Byzantines:
1. epos - 4 loss, 1 draw
2. Okie -2 win 6 losses
3. Allendeuce -1 win, 6 losses
4. Edmond_Blackadder -4 wins, 1 loss
5. cunningcarin -1 win, 3 loss
6. notjustdon - 7 losses
7. Jakdaw - 4 wins, 5 losses
8 .mcfcivo -1 win, 7 losses
9. Blackwatch221 -1 win, 5 loss
10. Enakan - 6 losses
The 10 enemies are:
Sassanid Persians - cunningcarin - 2 win, 1 draw, 2 loss
Western Huns - Edmond_Black adder - 5 wins
Vandals in Africa - Allendeuce - 5 wins, 2 loss
Early Alans - epos - 4 wins, 1 loss
later Visigoths - mcfcivo -8 wins, 1 loss
Italian Ostrogoths - notjustdon - 8 wins, 1 loss
Early Avar - Blackwatch221 - 3 loss
Western Turks - Enakan- 4 wins, 1 loss
Gepids - Jakdaw - 7 wins, 1 draw, 1 loss
Early Lombards - Okie 7 wins, 1 loss
Rules:
You go to 1000 pt. build but only use 600pts. or less but not over 600 pts.even. This is the Honor system so please no more points then 600.
For recording scores use this format: Johns Huns win 57/60 95% to allens Byzantines 63/60 100%.
Points will be 2 pts. for win, 1pt. for draw and 0 pts. for loss.Ties in points must be played off for the top 4 scores and at your discresion for any below the top 4.
Lt. Infantry can be no more then 20% of total. So if you have a total of 58 units then divide by 5 gives you 11.6 or 12 rounding up .5 or higher and round down .4 or less.
Lt. Cv. may be as large as half the army because they were such a big part of some armies.
Armies will be chosen for enemies by first come first served and when 10 are picked for the Byzantines.
Remember to use the 1000 pt build for your army and then when you record your army put SP at the end so you'll not get confused and use the wrong build as this will most likly be differant then a normal 600 pt. army.
Again tell all your friends so we can get our 10 needed players!
Good luck and have fun!
