Thanks very much to Francois for his help this season but RLI takes precedent and so he will not be helping with organising next season. Hopefully in the future he will return.

TDC V should begin in January.

Recruitment will hopefully start in November. Just jot down a note on your calendar.

Greetings

A huge thank you to Mike/Triarii, who creates all tables.

These ratings are used by other tournaments to help allocate players to different divisions or groups.

They are changed each season based on performance in all periods the player enters (See other tables)

Many had originally been calculated using either season 12 of the Old Digital League and or a simple rating system for 5 round Slitherine tournaments.

Players who have now played in one of the TDC seasons will be rated here.

Players who are rated based on the Old Digital League rating (December 2021) will probably change when they enter TDC for the first time and so it would be a good idea to confirm your rating with the organisers.

This rating system will be used, for players who have played in TDC but have now entered a new period

For all new players, we will either use our Slitherine rating system, maybe other sources or if nothing is available they will be given a 1000 rating.

These are approximations. Ratings are calculated by using a base 50 points as a starter. If 2 players of approximately the same rating play each other, their rating will change from -25 to + 25. If ratings are very different say 1600 and 2100. If the 1600 player wins he would receive +40, the 2100 player would receive a -40. If the 2100 player wins, he would receive +15 and the 1600 player a -15.

Below you will find present ratings of players who have entered Early or Later Medieval.

Those players without a rating would use their overall rating from the table above these.

Let us say in TDC V there are 30 entries in Late Medieval. That would mean 3 divisions of 10. Division A would consist of players who are 1st to 10th in rating, B - 11th to 20th and C - 21st to 30th
