I managed to rout pretty much all of the non Knightly Hungarians, as the Knights are just too tough, luckily they were off pursuing my evading Horse Archers for just long enough!

Battle fought along the coast and over a deep stream near a central farm. Using the farm to anchor our left, we pushed our heavy foot and chariots screened by our lights across the stream alongside the coast. We eventually punched through and flanked the rest of the engaged line.

heidipie irish beat Hari72 Sassanid persions 48 to 20

hills on left and center , from irish perspective, with much broken terrain on the left, and woods on the right

the irish left and center took the hills and went into staring competition with half the Persina force, inclusive 3 elephants

but on the right, the Persians came forward, inflictted some loss on irish kerns but otherwise were neutralized and took some losses themselves before being chased off, most being only horse archers who even ran from kerns charging

NOTE THE IRISH WERE ALL AFOOT, THE PERSIANS ALL MOUNTED

then the most remarkable event , irish on the center hill charged at the horse archers to their front who were shooting them up, and as one elite unit was chasing the evading horse, charged to its left, into one of the elefant...

.what !!! said the Irish general , begorra and all that
who then sent units in support, and then persians sent in second elefant, then more irish came off the hills, then the persian right and center joined in, then the kerns positioned in the broken ground came swarming down

result, 2 of the beaties disrupted almost immediately and then rout , and then the rest of persians including one more elefant are swarmed under from 3 sides

extreme luck that irish charger did not disrupt, and then further luck as second elefant came up....could have gone either way there and then with the irish center blown out
