Re: Rise of ..... campaign
While the 1st Gallic/Seleucid war is fought, and they fight to end with 6 or 8 provinces.
I give the results of the year 281 BC.
1 Illyrian 350 3 provinces
2 S Pontic 281 4 provinces
3 Greek 280 5 provinces
4 ??? 6 provinces
5 N Pontic 281 6 provinces
6 Roman 280 8 provinces
7 Macedonian 320 8 provinces
8 ??? 8 provinces
9 Thracian 350 8 provinces
So S Pontic can pick an opponent and attack minor Illyria for the year 280 BC.

That's a long time, I have asked a replacement player to step in. If Wolf blitzee returns before 279 BC he gets his command back.MikeC_81 wrote:Is anyone in contact with Wolf blitzee? He hasn't been on since Nov 25.......

Greeetings All,
As the temporary ruler of S Pontus it seems reasonable to extend our civiilsing efforts.
Accordingly war is declared on the Thracians and Illyria, preferably in Agricultural terrain.
PS. Just see from his PM that Hendricus is into mountains so its a hilly battle in Illyria pw NotFlat

Re: Rise of ..... campaign
Greek now decides for the next war ( not against S Pontic or Thrace ) and if it tries to win over Illyria again ( win or loose 2 provinces if war again with Rome or Illyria ).
Name the terrain too you want to fight in.

Number 4 decides in fact both wars to complete 280 BC because only two players are left after he picks his target.MikeC_81 wrote:Guess we gotta wait for number 4 to be resolved?

Our army defended our land from our Greek compatriots. (15% vs 44%). Thanks for the game devoncop.

Re: Rise of ..... campaign
Can we get an update on the final game of round one? It is holding up the entire event. A week has passed since we were told it was just a few more days.

Re: Rise of ..... campaign
That would be fine indeed. We go with the pace of the slowest player. There is the possibility to ask for a temporary replacement if you have vacation or something more serious that prevents you from playing.MikeC_81 wrote:Can we get an update on the final game of round one? initially he was ahead, but i have flanked his lines and things are looking up for the gauls...about a 16% lead, some other units in trouble and getting close to 60%.
i was out of town for a few days, and now am back in action. unfortunately our timeing hasn't yielded multiple turns in a day yet...not sure of his time zone, but we are slow. if we are holding things up you might just adjudicate who we each play next and address the scoring later....or we could wait two days...or we could ask him if he thinks he has a chance at this point. i'm feeling pretty good about my chances...but until i see his next turn i can't say and certainly can't speak for him
i have two windows in my day, and often am at my computer for several hours, but apparently not on the same schedule as him. so normally i'm faster than this, if that helps keeping me from getting replaced....

Re: Rise of ..... campaign
Good enough for me, I sense both of you are involved and timezones and real life can disturb our gaming experience. Patience, patience, that's what we have some more time. Thanks for the update mate.klayeckles wrote:i think yu are refering to Aryaman and me...Hendricus wrote:That would be fine indeed. We go with the pace of the slowest player. If you give a hint about what you plan to do, and if Aryaman does also tell us what he wants to do during 280 BC. Perhaps that is compatible and can we start those wars already.
Re: Rise of ..... campaign
I have surrendered my game with Klay, as defeat was really a matter of time and there was little prospect of a comeback, so the campaign can proceed.
