Absolutely love the leaders...should be a standard across all BA scenarios.

Also noticed a couple things that were inexplicably overlooked:

--no deployment option
--where are snipers? (see Enemy At The Gates)
--no rubble/wire/shell holes/fortifications. Ain't it Stalingrad? :-)

-deploy is already added in the current version, see the first post.
-these scenarios are based on Squad Leader scenarios, and no snipers, wire, etc was in those.
-Hill 621 (not yet released , but soon) has wire and fortifications for your pleasure :)
-Leaders may act has snipers when they reach level 2.

Many of your have asked about Accuracy, until included in the Mods & Actions document this is what he does:

Accuracy only is effective in HE fire.
Accuracy depends on leader status who gives the accuracy (status + 2)

You can see the effectiveness of a fire: in the tooltip before making a fire it show the initial effectiveness, and then, after giving Accuracy.

The formula is as:
Final effectiveness = Initial_Effectiveness + Total_ Accuracy

In this case
Initial_Effectiveness: 37
Accuracy given by leader: 4 (leader status +2) was a leader status 2 in this case
Total_ Accuracy = Initial_Effectiveness x 4 / 10 = 14,8
Final effectiveness = 37 + 14 = 51

The Stalingrad trilogy is near ready, I'll post the link to the last scenario of the trilogy immediately : Streets of Stalingrad.
This scenario is a merge of the two preceding and adds armor support.
Probably it will need some minor adjustments in balance.

Some improvements are:

New Leader

Some games will allow to move an infantry unit only if they begin turn in leadership range, this try to simulate the natural behavior to keep save of most people.
This made a major change in playability in BA in the scenarios where I tested it, so I decide not to implement, at least, for now.

But one of the abilities implemented during this testing was the option that an infantry isolated (not in leadership range) could generate a new leader, e.i. a squad's man become a leader.
So I decided to keep this last one.

I cant load those scenarios with the method you give

Can you not have them in the "campaign" upload menu in BA2 ?... that worked well in BA1

And good job with all the scenarios !

Should work, many players have already downloaded, and we are playing with many different opponents.
Probably you're not doing exactly the process.

Be sure, when you accept a match, that you have installed the same version


While playing scenarios that are not yet an official download I'll release a new version when several issues were found, so, before accepting a match, please check if your version is the latest one. When you receive the advice "Data don't match…" probably, if you did not changed anything, this is because your version is not the same.

Thanks Enric just played a couple of senarios of Hill 621, we loved it ..... hand to hand on the forest flanks, nice work,good map :)

Just an advancement in the German reinforcements.
