Depends on your screen resolution, but this is as close/big I can get.One question: How close can be zoomed in on the map?

Re: Random Screenshot(s) of the Week
The UI now displays the unit traits (a much required ommision), revealing another layer of depth and variety in the gameplay.
Re: Random Screenshot(s) of the Week
Looks Great! it is nice to be randomized with screenshots
still can't wait to get my hands on this game any idea of the timeframe are we talking q1 or q2....

Re: Random Screenshot(s) of the Week
Q2. I think we're roughly done with gameplay features/mechanics now aside from tweaking & tuning. Now putting the last hand to PBEM++ MP and then the to-do list is FINALLY down to just minor tasks.
Slowly but steadily, we're getting there!

adherbal: Nice to hear that the end is nigh... well sort of. :) Just keep up with the quality and you shall deliver a fantastic game!
Re: Random Screenshot(s) of the Week
One of the latest additions to naval warfare: Warships can repair a limited amount of damage taken in combat without the need of a port or repair ships. Smoke & fire effects indicate of the ship has repairable damage.
Also note how the Japanese cruisers got badly damaged by torpedo volleys from US destroyers which broke through the Japanese destroyer screen.

Re: Random Screenshot(s) of the Week
Any new pictures, or updates from beta? How is progress going tweaking the campaigns?
Re: Random Screenshot(s) of the Week
Very busy wrapping up PBEM, finishing the manual and in-game texts for proofreading and translation. So we're getting close now
Here's two consecutive (high-res) screenshots from a cooperative multiplayer game, where the one player must break through the US encirclement to relieve his pocketed Japanese ally:
Turn 2
Turn 3

More PBEM++ action: this time featuring a 2v2 naval battle. Order of Battle - Pacific will be be first to support team VS team multiplayer battles in PBEM++
Destroyer screens peppering the enemy with torpedo and gunfire.
The first casualties go down in smoke and flames.
Manoeuvring to penetrate the enemy fleet and target the juicy battleships at the rear.

Re: Random Screenshot(s) of the Week
Do you give supply and the lack of it (like encirclement) a bigger role - so we can gain by cutting off units and smart movement...?

Re: Random Screenshot(s) of the Week
You can certainly gain by cutting it, and you don't want to fight out of supply.
Re: Random Screenshot(s) of the Week
Supply plays a very big role. Eastern Front sized encircements are hard to pull-off (mostly cos of the lack of open terrain on the pacific maps) but it's very effective against single units or small groups as well. Camping around a single VP is not a valid strategy in OoBP.
In other news, we just succesfully completed the first 2v2 match involving beta testers. So that finally crosses PBEM++ entirely off the to-do list
(Note the blue US infantry unit in the mountains in enemy territory. This is a "Raider Marines" commando unit which is invisible to the enemy unless adjacent to their infantry. These units can cause considerable havoc!)
