I'm sorry it is COSTS. They are too easy to buy.Obsolete wrote:You mean strength? I don't like that, I'd rather have their support/range increased.

I agree supression seems to be a little high for artillery fire atm.
Maybe you could reduce the suppressed number of units by the amount of entrenchment ? For example in combat if a unit has got 7 supression points but has 5 entrechment then the total remaining suppressed units would be 7-5 = 2 ?
Also for tanks a sligh reduction of supression should be considered IMO...maybe by -1 or -2 overall.
Especially for dug in units and maybe also a little for tanks.
EDIT: Currently I am fighting my way through the low countries and the way how I deal with enemy tanks is....fire an arty on them and then kill them off by a tank attack. Basically this is done for every unit mostly.
The killing ratio of artillery is fine - but suppression seems just a little overpowered.
Another idea could be to limit suppression to 5 (+mass attack units) points total....independently of how much fire the unit gets ?

Combination "7-5=2" and "max suppression 5" is cool.Iscaran wrote:I agree supression seems to be a little high for artillery fire atm.

Or first artillery fire full power for suppress, next artillery fire is -25% (or 50% for every other shot) power for suppress, next 50%..etc for defenders.
SU-152 is too cheap
234 vs 270 for a Su-122
Also maybe a slight reduction in artillery effectiveness may be better than a cost increase across the board for all types of artillery.
Perhaps we need both, a slight reduction and a cost increase by 10%. This is on top of the balancing issues, for example the SU-152 as being too cheap.
