A supremely entertaining contest which initially saw the Macedonians overcome the large Antigonid cavalry force whilst losing the fight for the significant hill feature. The struggle continued with the high ground exchanging hands and both sides relentlessly chipping away at each others advantage. The Macedonians were fortunate to finally attain a close run victory. Thanks for a great battle which could have gone either way.

A very constricted battlefield, sea on one side and mountains in another corner did not suit the Skythians. Te Seleucids brought mass pike phalanxes. A very tactical battle with the Skythians and Thracians trying to shoot up and flank, and avoid being crushed by numerous pike blocks.
