Early war 4 ammunition is more than enough for a support unit to attack during it´s turn and do decent support during enemy turn. late war when the number of units on the map rises even 6 ammunition units run low during enemy turn, especially AA-guns.
Since all AT guns below 4cm caliber have camouflage in the mod utilizing a double support hero early war is not that big of a challenge. Late war he drops drastically in usefullness, i agree on that.
On higher settings with DvG and such having double support on a unit can be extremly usefull when the supporter can be placed out of enemy sight.
