Here's the spreadsheet I put together to track. Mind you this is not official. Yellow indicates army choices uncontested by pick level. I'm not positive exactly how Angus is going to randomize picks, so this may not hold true.

I think you've done about as much work for this as I have Karvon.

(I'll let you in on a secret - I have already done the randomization and the draw, but I won't reveal it until Friday to deter last minute gamifying of army choice. I put a random number next to each players and sorted them in order twice: once for army selection and the second time to assign to groups. I hope that is adequate for any statisticians out there.)

I said it because right now it is not very clear to me what armies are granted. In the link they look generic, I think, there is no Ptolemaic for example.

The Ptolemaic army is markleslie's first pick and no other player has it as a first pick. The only other player who picked that army is deeter, but it's his third pick, and his first pick Hannibal in Italy isn't anyone else's first pick, so he is likely to have that one. Thus, markleslie is probably going to play the Ptolemaic. At least by my reckoning.

As for the link, you need to look at the second page of the spreadsheet, you'll find a tab at the bottom of the first page which shows you which players have picked which armies.

Well, then your army will really be down to the luck of the draw as each of your picks are also someone else's. All three of your picks are first picks of other players and the Romans are picks of three other players. You may well have to submit a fourth pick as a final option.

The draw has been made. I the odds were 3 chances in 8 that every entrant would have a valid choice for an army, but it worked out. If anyone is interested the working for the draw is further down the first page of my google sheet.

Some simple stat's on the divisions after the draw...

Div A sum of seed 34 sum of ELO 6327

Div B sum of seed 36 sum of ELO 6013

Div C sum of seed 29 sum of ELO 6911

Div D sum of seed 35 sum of ELO 6311

Looks like Div C is going to be the toughest road to travel by both measures.

Angus would it be possible for you to update the docs with the exact armies to help speed up set up as some folk have not put the dates for the forces and I could do with help knowing the exact force to select?
