Report from South-West
Aryaman 49% vs 60% Deadtorius (+11%)
After a long and bitter fight, the cause of the King prevailed. The cavaliers didn´t show up their usual superiority, as the parliamentarian cavalry is getting tougher, but in the end the relentless fire of the musket battalions broke the rebel infantry. Now the South-West is in complete control under the King.

Re: The Great Rebellion Campaign
A hard fought battle and a deserving win. My congratulations to general Aryaman
Re: The Great Rebellion Campaign
I'll get the numbers updated today. We need a new Blathergut (if such a thing is possible!) so if you know anyone, get asking!

Re: The Great Rebellion Campaign
Apologies for the delay! Early '44 results are up, scheming can begin for Late '44. I am happy for both factions to appoint their own CiCs (or have a coup...). Does anyone have any possible replacement for BG?

Re: The Great Rebellion Campaign
Keyth, SW has reported. It was a -1 Royalist win for a total of -10.
Map update. This was the position after Late 1643.

Do we have have volunteer CiCs or shall I nominate some people?

Re: The Great Rebellion Campaign
I suspect a lot of people (me included) are not looking for the burden of command.
I'd go back to previous CiC's who have been successful! And rather than change it every half year, stick with the same one. The problem does not appear to be a surplus of people who want to be CiC but a defecit. Anyone who is willing to do it is qualified in my book!

I am very happy with this as a solution but if no-one steps up I will assign the role (but not to anyone who has explicitly stated that they don't want the jobWaldorf wrote:I suspect a lot of people (me included) are not looking for the burden of command.

If no one else wants the purple, I will volunteer to be the CinC for the rest of the campaign.

The only problem is Aryaman is one of the smelly disgusting Royalists on the other side !Aryaman wrote:If no one else wants the purple, I will volunteer to be the CinC for the rest of the campaign.
Re: The Great Rebellion Campaign
Well volunteered Sir! Now all we need is a Parliamentary commander and a new BG for our side....Aryaman wrote:If no one else wants the purple, I will volunteer to be the CinC for the rest of the campaign.
