Hello ajs81,
that is a beautiful card. How big is it?
May I also use it for my projects if you have published them?
Greetings Tobi

This is one of the smallest maps, 70x70. The main goal is, exceptionally, but historically, the defense of civilians who are fleeing East Prussia and Pomerania from the Red Army. I still need to add the defense of Königsberg, but that will be a secondary issue in this scenario.
Re: New Projekt: Phcas & AKRebels "PAK"-Mod - RELEASE v3.20
Interesting. We are looking forward to the release. 70x70 is almost gigantic by my standards.

Re: New Projekt: Phcas & AKRebels "PAK"-Mod - RELEASE v3.20
From the point of view of warfare, the stubborn defense of Gdansk, Sopot and Gdynia, in addition to tying up the actions of the Red Army (similarly to the defense of Königsberg), which instead of going to Berlin had to fight on its right wing, additionally aimed to save the civilian population of East Prussia and the Gdansk Pomerania region. Operation Hannibal turned out to be a great success - 1,230,000 people were taken out of Courland, East Prussia and Pomerania. Naturally, there was also the tragedy of the Wilhelm Gustloff ship, compared to which the sinking of the Titanic is a joke. Or the Steuben ship.
Re: New Projekt: Phcas & AKRebels "PAK"-Mod - RELEASE v3.20
I know such stories from my ancestors in Silesia. It was the same tragedy.

What have they planned without giving too much away? Will there be special missions? How many rounds?

Turns 25, main object - save civil refugees and move them to Danzig or Gotenhafen harbor (today's Gdańsk and my hometown Gdynia). By the way, the defense from the west, i.e. today's Lębork, in the south - the Tuchola Forest, all the way to Elbląg to the east. A semicircle. The advantage is the support of a strong group of ships in the Gulf of Gdańsk.

Re: New Projekt: Phcas & AKRebels "PAK"-Mod - RELEASE v3.20
Are you also planning to build a similar scenario about the battle for Silesia? I'm asking because I was planning something like this as a mini-campaign in the future. Not specifically with refugees as a mission, but I could imagine it now.

Re: New Projekt: Phcas & AKRebels "PAK"-Mod - RELEASE v3.20
No, I didn't think about that. Yesterday was exactly 80 years since the offensive of the Red Army and the Polish army from the Vistula. They trampled the Wehrmacht in a month. The advantage in soldiers was 11:2, tanks 6:1, guns 12:1, planes 10:1. If I were making a map of Silesia, I couldn't forget the liberation of the Auschwitz and Birkenau camp complex by the Red Army on January 27th.
Re: New Projekt: Phcas & AKRebels "PAK"-Mod - RELEASE v3.20
Without getting political, this is probably Germany's darkest and worst chapter. Even in this game, you have to think about it sometimes.
Well then, let's wait for their work, 25 rounds is not too much for the size of the map.

It's sad that we don't have such an event we could send saboteur spies to Tehran to eliminate three important world figures ))))

Roosevelt, British Prime Minister Winston Churchill and Joseph Stalin, Chairman of the State Committee of the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks (Bolsheviks), General Secretary of the Central Committee of the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks (Bolsheviks) and Chairman of the USSR National People's Commissariat of the Soviet Union, at a dinner party in honour of Churchill's birthday in Tehran during the Tehran Conference in 1943© AP Photo
It was 1943. The conference was code-named ‘Eureka’. Stalin's route was kept in strict secrecy. Only years later it turned out that the leader travelled in a letter train number 501 Moscow - Stalingrad - Baku, and from there the delegation accompanied by 27 fighter jets flew to Tehran.

In Western Europe, campers became widespread much earlier, just after the First World War. Within twenty years, camper trailers turned from exotic into commonplace, and so much so that during the Blitzkrieg some particularly clever Nazi soldiers were happy to use trophy cars seized from the French and Dutch. Indeed, it was better to go to the front lying in a cot than to shake in the back of a truck or, worse, to march kilometre after kilometre on dusty roads

Fearing an Allied landing on the islands in 1945, Japan formed the People's Volunteer Corps, an analogue of the German Volkssturm. All men between the ages of 15 and 60 and unmarried women between the ages of 17 and 40 were drafted into the Corps. Two million men joined, and a total of 28 million Japanese were to be conscripted. They had almost no weapons: some men were armed with muzzle-loading muskets, long bows, or bamboo spears, but it was assumed that they could fight with these as well.
One of the mobilised high school girls, Yukiko Kasai, was given an awl and told, ‘Even killing one American soldier will do the trick. You must aim for the stomach.’
