I'm testing it today so I can fix any errors straight away. In some missions I increased the number of rounds or reduced the number of mines and slightly reduced the enemy's strength.
More on this later on my site. :wink:

jeffoot77 wrote: Fri Aug 30, 2024 4:05 pm hello all the team!

here is a feedback for the end in PAK mod:

i just finished the last scenario of the whole campaign (berlin) and from bagration to berlin, player can buy or upgrade lots of tigers( more than 15 for me !) and lots of ME 262 fighters(more than 20 for me! ) and therefore the game becomes a little too easy (I play in field marshall with chess dice since beggining ) because we have aerial superiority and tanks that are too strong ! (and I still had over 30k prestige left! and i bought AA too ! )
So I was surprised that there are not more waves of allied planes on the last map of Berlin. So in my humble opinion, map would need a lot more enemy planes (at least 15 new ones each turn! at least to weaken fighters of germany ), a massive attack from the allies on west and east (already the case) is good but there should be also an encirclement and penetration from north and south! (even if historically it is not) .

For the mod, all maps are awesomes , bagration map, ardennes map are very good , the experience was incredible! gigantic maps, hundreds of hours of fun, thanks again for all the work! :lol: :P

PS: i forget to mention that i never encounter allied aces fighters, Are there none or I didn't see them?
Hello Jeffoot,

Thanks for your feetback. Because the maps are big with many cities the player can get much more prestige than in the small maps. From the other side much more units cost much more prestige to keep them on full strength. I will look at your issues, it will cost some time.

If you have any sugestions about Allied ace fighters (pilot names and aircraft types) I will make them.

PS. Poland and Low Countries scenarios are updated in every update.

I will try to find the right balance, I will test the campaign at Rommel level. So medium difficulty, if I'm not mistaken.

A 1938 Nissan 80 truck, which belonged to Japanese troops and was used by them for transportation of personnel.

Interestingly, the truck is armed with 7.7 mm Type 97 machine gun, which was mounted on a carriage in the center of the body. Presumably, the photo was taken somewhere in China in the early 1940s.

And why when I was testing your mod I didn't see any Japanese motorcycles ?

P.S.
I used to think that the Czechs in 1938 had one hero, Captain Pavlik, who did something against the Wehrmacht invasion of Czechoslovakia and shelled the Wehrmacht for 40 minutes, but now I have a new idol )))).

Josef Menčík, the last Czech knight from the Dobř Castle in Strakonice. In 1938, on horseback and in lats, he faced a German tank entering Czech territory.
Menčík bought the castle in the early 20th century. He decided to live in it according to the ideals of a medieval knight, traveling in armor and on horseback, taking part in festivals and pilgrimages. Quickly he became a local celebrity. When he learned that Germany had occupied part of Czech territory, he stood on the border of his land against German tanks. The Germans thought he was crazy, but for his courage they allowed him to return to his castle.
If ever someone wants to make a supplement about Czechoslovakia 1938 don't forget these honorable knights !!!!

Now I have a dilemma who is cooler is the Czech old man or Jack Churchill who shot the Krauts with an arrow and chopped them with a sword ))))

Articles on guided weapons created or developed in Japan during World War II. Probably, many people will be interested in:* “I-Go” anti-ship missile (army)

https://fonzeppelin.livejournal.com/43205.html

- A radio-guided missile guided visually by an operator from a carrier aircraft. Existed in two different versions from Kawasaki and Mitsubishi.

* Ke-Go homing bomb (Army)

https://fonzeppelin.livejournal.com/43682.html

- Self-guided infrared bomb for targeting ships. Free-fall autonomous homing weapon.

* Funryu missile family (Navy)

https://fonzeppelin.livejournal.com/43823.html

- A family of guided missiles, including one anti-ship missile and three anti-aircraft missiles, both solid-fuel and liquid-fueled.

* Shusui-Shiki unmanned interceptor (Army and Navy)

https://fonzeppelin.livejournal.com/44624.html

- The Shusui-Shiki unmanned ramming missile interceptor is essentially an anti-aircraft missile without a warhead that hits a target with a ramming strike and returns to the airfield for refueling.

* “Ya-I-Go” teleoperated tankers (Army)

https://fonzeppelin.livejournal.com/45248.html

- Cable-guided engineering demolition vehicles designed to breach wire fences and destroy fortified structures. In service from 1938 to 1945.

* Japanese acoustic torpedoes (navy)

https://fonzeppelin.livejournal.com/45730.html

- Two experimental acoustic homing torpedoes developed in Japan during the war. They were not adopted for service.

* Fu-Go transcontinental bomber balloons (Army and Navy)

https://fonzeppelin.livejournal.com/46266.html

- Unmanned bomber balloons designed to be held automatically in the Pacific jet stream that carried them to North America. The world's first truly transcontinental weapon. Several thousand were launched between 1944 and 1945.

* “Ohka” Model 53 (Navy) Aircraft Launcher.

https://fonzeppelin.livejournal.com/46448.html

- Radio-controlled version of the “Ohka” Model 53 kamikaze dive-bomb plane (with turbojet engine). EXISTENCE IS QUESTIONABLE; POSSIBLY A POST-WAR “AFTERTHOUGHT”.

My campaign is finished.
For those of you who want to see more Japanese and Chinese units from the Pak-Mod in action.
The time has come. The Yamato`37 campaign can be downloaded via this link.
The English translated version is now included in the link.
Small update.
A newer version is available for download.
A few new images colorized by phcas, a new briefing window and, but I'm not 100% sure, a missing image in the purchase menu and sounds have been fixed. It works for me anyway. If not, these problems will soon be fixed in the Pak-Mod with the 3.10 update.

Czechoslovak Legion in the Polish Army (1939).

Shortly after the Czech lands became part of the III Reich in March 1939, about 4,000 anti-fascist officers and soldiers of the former Czechoslovak army, as well as civilians who did not want to stay in the territory occupied by Germany, moved to neighboring Poland. On April 30, the Czechoslovak Foreign Group was established with about 100 soldiers. Starting in May 1939, 1212 servicemen, including 477 pilots, were transported from Gdynia on 6 military ships to France. From those who remained in Poland, the Czechoslovak Legion (800 men) and the Czechoslovak Reconnaissance Squadron (93 men) began to be formed as part of the Polish Army from September 3, 1939. The Czechoslovak Legion was headed by Lt. Gen. Lev Prchala of the former Czechoslovak Army. His deputy was Colonel Ludvík Svoboda.

Although the formation of these units was not completed, their personnel took part in the battles against the German army in Galicia, although the losses were relatively low - 5 killed and 6 wounded. The Czechoslovak reconnaissance squadron became subordinate to Polish General Stefan Marian Strzemieński during the fighting.

September 18 - Shortly after the Red Army entered eastern Poland, some Czechoslovak legionnaires were captured near the village of Rakovets near Ternopil and interned in the Soviet camps of Olkhovtsy and Jaromlintsi.

Image
Czechoslovak pilots are awarded Polish military decorations. September 1939.

Another part (about 250 men, including Lieutenant General Lev Prchal) managed to cross the Polish-Romanian border and reach France and the French possessions in the Middle East by various routes.

So, please love and applaud--

In 1938, in Manchuria, a captain commanded a 37mm Type 94 anti-tank gun. In a fierce battle, his soldiers stopped many Soviet tank attacks, but the enemy was pressing on, and the samurai were running out of ammunition.

When the Russians attacked again, Captain Fujita decided to use his trusty sword to defeat the enemy. He stabbed the commander of an enemy T-26 tank (yes, yes, exactly T-26!) through the turret's observation holes, but was wounded in the arm by the gunner.

However, the captain survived, received an order and served as an instructor until the end of the war.

It seems that Fujita brought up a worthy successor, because stabbing tanks with bayonets became a favorite pastime of the Japanese infantry.
