There is a Trait "nopurchase" and "noupgrade" (equipment.pzeqp). I made a test with a unit I made "nopurchase" but still "upgrade".

Thats interesting. I made a test also but it didn't work, this is what happens:

I made the JG 1 Bf-109 B and JG 1 Bf-109 C nopurchase. In the Poland scenario the unit is there. It’s not in the purchase screen of Poland, that’s OK.

When we go over to the Norway scenario in the Campaign JG 1 Bf-109 C will not show up in the New Equipment message. When I try to update the JG 1 Bf-109 B in the deploy screen the JG 1 Bf-109 C is not there.

You can only upgrade to a "Unit purchase", it is impossible to upgrade to a unit that is "nopurchase". It is possible to upgrade "Unit A nopurchase" to "Unit B purchase" but impossible to upgrade "Unit A nopurchase" to "Unit B nopurchase" (for me, it seems logical).

Everything is about the question if it is possible to keep the unic units (1 Panzer Division etc) out of the purchase screen but in a way the player can still upgrade this units (who are on the map already)

An easy option would be to go over the trait "bonus", but only without nopurchase and noupgrade. Available core units would then have to be adjusted.

Are you sure it's not the other way around between the equipment file and the Unit folder? For me, it was the opposite and I removed the space between Mk and VII in the image in the bigunits (UI) and Units (Graphics) folders. This gives: 0102_MkVII_Tetrarch.png

All patches are to be installed one after the other (I had already asked the question). This should be specified on the first page
