Aetius (Carthaginians) defeats BobGanoush (Spartans) 58-27

Both armies' whole lines clashing; the Carthaginians got the initial upper hand breaking a few units early, but the Spartans had more units, and overwhelmed/flanked the Carthaginian left, having it fall apart. Luckily for them, the center and right fared much better, and in the end came out on top, but only after many casualties. GG!

edb1815 Crusader 1155-1291 w/ Fatimid Egyptian by a score of 55-30

Some bad luck for Edb1815 when his C and C died in the thick of it. Must have been well liked, as 2 superior
units got disrupted because of it. This led to the Berber victory in the centre, just as the crusaders were making inroads
on the Berbers flank. Thanks for the game Edb1815, all the best, Lunecastle.

Carthaginian civil war! This was a fun match up with a great opponent; unfortunately for me some scutarii charged straight to their demise early on, and a painful double-drop from a warband didn't help hold the line. Well played on the part of my opponent!

Battlefield littered with the dead and dying, a small set of low hills and a saddle was set near the middle of the field. Both armies drew up in similar make-up, with either flank grasping at each others jugular. The Romans won off to their west flank, freeing up cav and foot to make an immediate pivot towards the hills..the Byzantine battered the far roman right, turning to face off for another push. The battle could have went either way, good game Oscarius!!

Questar17 Latin Greece 1205-1311 AD feat Cuman beats oscarius Scots (Isles and Highlands) 1050-1319 AD with Norwegian allies 42:4

A battlefield was quite hilly and woody ( on both edges of the center) a lake on one flank and a big space of rough terrain in the center.

I decided to concentrate a half of my troops on one hill and move along it forward till reaching opponents infantry. From i there i could shoot opponents without resistance almost while some my lancers and pikes could defend my bowmen in the battlefield.

On other hill more which was covered, opponent could advance hordes of his highlanders with some pikes and archers almost till my frontline. Seems it was his plan, while i decided to make maneuvres by horse archers and bowmen.


After some shooting by my archers on the hill, opponent decided to attack one hill with crossbowmen and pikes and attack my another flank coming down from the hill. I could easily defend a hill with pikes and massive shooting, while on another flank a combination of bowmen, horse archers and some knights was absolute deadly for opponent highlanders and pikes on a batch of plain terrain

The horse archers were a huge problem, and for a while my units were standing, waiting, but eventually they would have been worn down. So they charged, again and again, splitting the horse archers apart. I had a few stragglers, but eventually most of them managed to get together to prevent flanks.
