Re: Ever-Green League - 300 BC
eric (Macedonians) defeated Karvon (Saka)
A dreadful map for the Saka. The ocean on one flank, a large steep sloped hill with a rough going plateau in the centre and a large wood on the Macedonians left. A win for the Macedonians was inevitable or was it as Karvon played very well with the Saka to at least make the loss a credible one

Welcome, Alan/Blagrot! I've added you to the spreadsheet with the re-appearing Thracian (Triballi) 350 BC-46 AD as starting army, so you're good to go.

Please note everyone that I've paused imatson2527 but kept him in the table, marked as red and thus unavailable for challenges due to family issues. I hope that his family will be fine and that he's back soon. Meanwhile, my thoughts and energy are with him and his family.

When I have played him he seems a really nice guy. I really hope everything works out for him and his family .
Thanks for letting us know Andreas.
Re: Ever-Green League - 300 BC
devoncop (Etruscan with Samnite allies) beat Holien ( Lysimachid)
An excruciatingly close match where initial Etruscan success against the phalanxes of the Lysimachids in the centre left was pegged back through the heroic cavalry charges by the Lysimachid left which threatened to roll up the Etruscan line but eventual success through superior numbers of the Etruscan left just scraped them home.
An exciting see-saw game against a very resilient opponent !

11 Holien Etruscan 330-280 BC Defeats 13 Blagrot Thracian (Triballi) 350 BC-46 AD
Really interesting set of forces to play with and against. I took lots of Raw troops to see how they would fair and made use of a hill along one edge of the map to help me. A tough fight but ultimately my troops managed to gain the flank and take full advantage of it... Many thanks for the game and will no doubt play you again soon...

Re: Ever-Green League - 300 BC
Inspired by the recent discussions about the "optimal" scoring system providing the "best" incentives, a change to how points are allocated will be applied on all challenges made from now on (currently active games will still keep the old scoring mechanism, with 1p for a win and 0p otherwise):

Needless to say, reporting the result will now also require the actual casualties (with inflicted casualties specified in same order as the player), e.g.:
- Players will now be allocated points as follows:
- for winning player: 4p plus 2p if suffering 0-4% casualties and plus 1p if suffering 5-9% casualties.
- for drawing or losing player: 0p if inflicting 0-14% casualties, 1p if inflicting 15-29% casualties, 2p if inflicting 30-44% casualties, 3p if inflicting 45+% casualties.

Needless to say, reporting the result will now also require the actual casualties (with inflicted casualties specified in same order as the player), e.g.:
- 7 kronenblatt Navarrese 900-1049 AD lost against 5 TomoeGozen Scots 851-1051 AD 15-45.
- 7 kronenblatt Navarrese 900-1049 AD won against 5 TomoeGozen Scots 851-1051 AD 45-15.
- 7 kronenblatt Navarrese 900-1049 AD drew with 5 TomoeGozen Scots 851-1051 AD 30-45.
