The Bactrians were very tough. There was a map - did I choose it? - with a lot of scrub/forest on the left, and clear to the right. WE lined up with our medium infantry in the forest, the legion in the center, and our Armenian friends on the right.

On the left, more enemies kept popping up, and the indian infantry was stronger then we expected. In the center the opposing infantry just stared - we held off from a full attack to see what was going to happen. Defeat started on the right. His light cavalry dodged our catephract charge, and the Iranian lancers came in from behind. Once our cavalry was gone, and our center flanked, the loss came quickly.

Catalan's won the initiative and had a steep hill and fields through the middle he went down my left and I manouvred across the middle finally hunting down his lights and after holding on the left just getting into his rear with my LBow tight and fraught we finally got there i still can't figure how against these MI and Highlanders why HI Foot Knights do very little damage bizarre.
