definitely had the better army for the terrain, with a difficult hill in the center ...once things started going bad for the rhoxolani they just couldn't extricate from the difficult terrain

Fighting Poultry (Ancient British 60BC-80AD) Drew with jjaquemond (Roman 197-284AD) 37-48
Really good battle - British Chariots destroyed the Roman Cavalry , Roman infantry badly mauled Barbarian infantry - after that it was a case of the Chariots and Legionaries facing off against each other , with neither side able to secure the advantage.

A very tough match as the Nabataeans are outclassed by the Jewish Zealot infantry. Missile fire is not enough.

As I wrote in chat - you crushed me quite expertly.

I don't know what more I could do, except perhaps for creating a wider front. The superior quality of the Zealots allows them to take very heavy punishment. It's difficult to disrupt them with missile fire, and they are very hard to break in melee. I think I didn't even manage to cause one autobreak due to losses.
