LoV - Vanilla is going to appear as a 63 scenario campaign - the team agreed that this is more than enough. The final scenarios are being tested and the German translations are getting a final overhaul.

LoV - Ultimate will appear as DLC's and i will commence working on the scenarios as soon Churchy has finished the units for 1936-1939 (that will be LoV - Ultimate DLC 1).

Hi nikki,

When is this mod due? I have seen that you started multiple projects together with this one, so that's why I'm asking. As far as I understand length and complexity wise this is closest to GTPG mod? I like your other mods as well but they seem a little short (nevertheless much fun).

Also what is the historical background of this mod? I cannot understand that from the scenario names as they are all in German. Does it have something to do with WW2, or period in-between WW1 and WW2?

The release is due in December.
LoV is a WW2 mod with a lot of hypothetical scenarios. For example there are 12 scenarios in the Northamerican continent.

Wow Excellent job as always! I'm running dry on motivation to play this game, but your continuing work and all the possible combinations of scenarios and sides gives game a new life over and over

... what is the historical background of this mod?

Versailles played a significant role some time in German history. On 18 January 1871 was proclaimed here - after the German-French War (1870-1871) - the German Empire. Nearly 50 years later... signed the "Treaty of Versailles" end of June 1919 in protest of the German delegation.

Our project makes reference to the latter event - the Peace of Versailles - a contractual document and particularly their consequences that we understand as the titled "Legacy". The reprisals and reparations imposed on Germany by this document are seen by some historians as an important cause of the rise of National Socialism, which - ideological reasons - responsible for the Second World War.

Last but not least ... the French Commander Marshal Ferdinand Foch to have said during the Paris Peace Conference in early September 1919: "This is not peace. It is an armistice for 20 years". It's interesting that he - to the day almost exactly - should be right...

Versailles spielte einige Male eine bedeutende Rolle in der deutschen Geschichte. Am 18. Letzten Endes soll der französische Oberbefehlshaber Marschall Ferdinad Foch während der Pariser Friedenskonferenz Anfang September 1919 sinngemäß gesagt haben, dass der Friedensvertrag von Versailles kein [wahrer] Frieden, sondern [nur] ein zwanzigjähriger Waffenstillstand sei… Schon interessant, wie recht er – fast auf den Tag genau - haben sollte…
