Yes the German speaking flamethrower...I will change that...I wanted to make sure that the sound and the animations really work so I took everything from the German Flamethrower Tank 2.
Well received still some Soviet infantry unit speaks German )

My next project. A fictional campaign about the invasion of Sakhalin by the Japanese army in the spring of 1940.

In this fictional campaign, the Soviets have occupied the entire island because they consider Japan too weak to defend itself on the island after the lost Khalkhin Gol battle. The beginning is made. A small naval and air battle heralds the battle for Sakhalin.

Sakhalin is a short detour to add some variety to the campaign series. I will continue with Yamato in China in due course.
Korea? Was never my plan.
What I still need to think about is how I can create a Pacific campaign without it feeling like a second tea infusion of the campaigns that already exist. I'm not sure I'm going to create one anymore. There is DMP Pacific Corps and USMC Redux Campaign and IJA Redux that I think cover everything that has to do with it. I won't be able to do any better.

But for now, I'm going to do a few things to this campaign before I send it on its way. A picture is missing, a German anti-aircraft gun has to be converted into a Japanese bomber and a captured Japanese artillery unit has to start its service under General Zhukov. After that I can publish them.

Oh yes, the German-speaking flaming tank is now mute and rattles its chains and only spits fire.

In the Bain Tsagan mission I can shorten the number of rounds, I had deliberately set it very high.

Yes, such hypothetical branches of alternative history are interesting in their own way there even slightly can give free rein to imagination ) In general, as it will be ready, send a link to the test )

Yes there was a message that we captured trophy Japanese guns but they never appeared in the game )

Let there be only the sound of steel tracks clanking and flamethrower firing ) Because the German screams from a Soviet tank are embarrassing )

Leave everything as it is in terms of moves ) Not everyone plays well but someone who plays even better but on the difficulty level Field Marshal really such professionals here is not much )

Writing the briefings is always the least enjoyable part of working on a campaign.

Thank you very much. I like reading, but writing is not one of my strengths.
Deepl is a good translation program, Google Translator sometimes makes my hair stand on end.
I don't have a fixed plan for Yamato Sakhalin this time. I will include as many missions as possible, it could be 10 or more.
There will be some naval battles, the Soviets will try to reinforce the forces on the island with sea and air landings and counterattacks... etc.
The Yamato`40 campaign will be considerably delayed by this, and because I have another project (Hungary 44-45) for the campaign collection have in planning. So much for that.

Should we expect any of the above this year, or have you not finalized your plans yet?
