I intend to do them, as well as the German planes that have been added in one of the late GCs, but it will take some time since currently I have some other things going on...I hope to squeeze those aircraft in somehow

Hello Bebro!
Would it be possible for you to release a plain gray version of your excellent S.M.79 icon sometime? The idea is to use it as a base icon for the DCS software... Thanks!!!

Re: The Unit Factory
During the Second World War, Germans captured no less than 100 Soviet Il-2 planes. They were never used (even for training purposes) because they had very poor technical data and pilotage capabilities. German were surprised why planes so poorly built as the Il-2 was produced and used in such large numbers. Using German standards this plane never could be used by Luftwaffe.

Re: The Unit Factory
Are there large Unit conversion packs available? I download the Air and Units 01 but are there other massive overhauls that don't screw up MODS?

Another sad story
The Heinkel He 100 was a German pre-World War II fighter aircraft design from Heinkel. Although it proved to be one of the fastest fighter aircraft in the world at the time of its development, the design was not ordered into series production, Approximately 19 prototypes and pre-production machines were built. The reason for the failure of the He 100 to reach production status is subject to debate. None are known to have survived the war.
Origin: Ernst Heinkel AG
Models: He 100 V1 to V8 and He 100D-1
Type: Single-seat fighter
First Flight: Jan. 22, 1938
Number produced: 25
PERFORMANCE:
Maximum speed: 670km/h (416mph)
Service Ceiling: 11,000m (36,090ft)
Range: 900km (559 Miles)

Re: The Unit Factory
Really good Icons...But...Prototypes and exotics are quite nice...but I really hope for the missing graphics for the last vanilla planes which came with the last patches

Hello Ralle! If you navigate to and through the "Guille's PzCorps Support Base" thread, you will be able to download several aircraft unit icons packs, the majority of them being derived from the excellent icons made by Bebro... You will not find everything, but there are some good ones, and with ample camo schemes to choose from!
Here is the link: viewtopic.php?f=147&t=36536
Enjoy!

Bomber destroyer version, two prototypes with an adapted 50 mm (2 in) MK 214 (or BK-5) anti-tank gun in nose.

Also Me 209 II
Unfortunately for the design team, the Me 209's proposed DB 603A engine was in short supply and they were forced to use the Jumo 213A engine; this required some reconstruction of the engine cowling (the supercharger intake was relocated to the starboard side of the cowling) and cooling system.
The program met a swift end when the Me 209 V5 prototype first flew in late 1944. It was 50 km/h (31 mph) slower than the Fw 190D and offered no improvement in handling characteristics.[1] After its disappointing show, the Me 209 project was cancelled and with it ended Messerschmitt's last attempt to build a high-performance piston-engine fighter.

And anyone have 3d model or image about FWW 190 B pls share with me !!!
For who can use 3D software, here some free model

YEAH, another sad story
Pz.Kpfw. IV Ausf. K1
It is a mystery why the Panzer IV series was never upgraded to Ausf. K, using the sloped hull front of the Jagdpanzer IV. With 80 mm of sloped frontal armour, the Panzer IV Ausf. K would have extended the useful life of the Panzer IV series of tanks. The reduction in nose weight solves the bogie wheel problem as well as the associated transmission e steering problems which plagued the uparmoured Panzer IV. This modification could have been issued as a field workshop upgrade kit for the Panzer IV Ausf. G to J series. Doing so would have been easier e cheaper than designing ed introducing the new Panzer V (Panther) series. This projected vehicle may be converted using parts from a standard Panzer IV e the Jagdpanzer IV, it would be interesting to test in a simulation game.

Pz.Kpfw. IV Ausf. K2
(Projection) n.a. n.a.
Standard factory version of the K1, fitted con smoke dischargers.
Pz.Kpfw. IV Ausf. L
(Projection) n.a. n.a.
This projected vehicle should have had the entire hull front redesigned to 80 mm of sloped armour. The corresponding weight saving would have solved the suspension problems, ed it would have allow the torretta front to be uparmoured to 80 mm. The gun should have received a fume extractor on the barrel, copied directly from a captured American M36 Jackson tank destroyer. The fume extractor is a prerequisite for the torretta uparmour conversion, otherwise the built-up of smoke inside the torretta would render the tank inoperable very quickly. The Panzer IV had ventilator openings in the torretta front which had to be kept open in combat, effectively preventing a torretta uparmour conversion
