Thank you very much, Warlord156!
Again a beautiful, very well made map; can't wait to play the scenario in the next days.

Hello Warlord, Dessau Bridge is againe a great Scenario. Unfortunatelly i"m a Wallenstein fan , so i cant play my favorite site, but thats no Problem.
By the way, i made a Scenario about this battle for my People General 30 years war mod, there i can play both sites. Its really sad we cant play both sites in
Pike and shoot.

Hi Micha;
I too am a Wallenstien fan, when I first created this scenario the Imperial's were the playable faction. But after play testing I decided the game was far too easy (and slightly boring), with very little to do other than have your troops just stand and soak up all the protestant attacks. I think playing as Mansfeld is much more of a challenge and far more satisfying when you win (which is not easy), I hope you are not too disappointed and enjoy the scenario. Besides; their is always multiplayer option.
I wish you good luck, and I will do some research on other battle's involving Wallenstien and see what I can create......

The trick to enjoying multi-player, I find, is playing many games simultaneously.
At least six of them gives you something to do quite often.
My only problem is remembering which side I am playing!
The other side usually looks like they are winning, which they are, hoho!

Everything is a matter of personally standpoint.
Re: Post here links to the SP scenarios you have created
I just fought the Battle of Dessau Bridge.
It is beautifully crafted, with a great battlefield.
The first assault scenario I have played that feels like an actual assault.
That is perhaps because the attackers were out-numbered by the ai defenders, making the battle a real challenge.
Also nice to see a battle with a more realistic amount of artillery.
I hope you can look into doing more assault scenarios, perhaps featuring the final assaults on breaches in city/fortress walls, actually more common than the field battles during this period.
I am envious of your great ability to craft realistic scenarios. I have enjoyed all of the scenarios you have made but this one is an absolute gem.

Hi Shawkhan2
Thanks for the positive comments, glad that you enjoyed the scenario. Inspires me to create more.
I agree with you that city/fortress assaults were more common, I will do some research and see if I can find some other's worth re-creating.
I have a number of scenario's in the pipeline at the moment, actual battles and a couple of 'what if' scenario's. I hope to make them available at a rate of one each week, although this may not always be the case. Again, I thank you for the feedback......

Re: Post here links to the SP scenarios you have created
Played the scenario this evening. Challenging one, I absolutely enjoyed it. I've won, but, I have to confess, only with some "gamey" approach:
I tried to flank the Imperials; was quite successful on the right, routed the enemy cavalry and infantry there, not so good results on the left. There was no way I could break the infantry in the redoubts, I raked them with my arty and salvo fire from my tercios, but no. Frontal assault against them is useless. Indeed I could infiltrate the enemy positions with my cavalry - almost my complete cavalry! With my horsies I routed the Imperial cavalry that stood there in the rear, also the artillery and shot units, captured the flag - and that was it! Not very historically I guess ...
I'll avoid this when I replay the scenario. I plan to increase pressure on the enemy's left, the cavalry just as backing, it should work.

Well Done Adebar;
Glad that you enjoyed the scenario.... I must be doing something right......
. My first game went almost the same as yours, but unfortunately my cavalry was destroyed and I just could not punch through to the bridge.
Thanks for the feedback.

Re: Post here links to the SP scenarios you have created
how did you put the game ending victory flag in there? that solves many problems for victory conditions.
Re: Post here links to the SP scenarios you have created
Thanks for your work, Warlord. I'd love to see a scenario where you actually play as the Imperials.

Victory flags are accessed through the victory points plug-in, via the plug-in icon (crossed hammer & saw). It has a number of options and is quite easy to use, the help (info) screen explains it all . Good luck.

Re: Post here links to the SP scenarios you have created
The Fleurus scenario has a deployment phase without any deployement areas marked, so that units can be deployed everywhere. Should be corrected. Also I would prefer to rename the Catholics into Spanish (and the Protestants into Dutch when a future DLC gives us this faction).
Apart from this a very nice scenario. Could't break the enemy tercios in the center but routed the rest of the Spanish army (mostly with the help of the strong cavalry). Map is nicely done, as usual.

My apologies for the deployment mistake. No excuses other than I worked late into the night. I clearly just overlooked it, Sorry.
I wanted to lower the unit value of the Spanish cavalry so that the victory conditions are not met by routing them. Therefore, forcing the Protestants to attack the Spanish infantry (as in the actual battle). But unfortunately this is beyond my ability at the moment, although I am slowly beginning to understand some of the scripting.
Thank you for the feedback.
