Hi Bob,
I've been away on holiday ... hence the late request. Do you have a place left for me, please?
Best wishes

Just one month to go until we reach the climax of the Great Rebellion at Oxford. Prizes are sorted, tables are hopefully sorted - we can always put the cloths on the floor to play on!!!!
All 32 places are currently filled. Tom Elsworth has offered to be the list checker saving me from making massive mistakes if I tried to do it. So all lists should be sent to Tom
(t.elsworth@btopenworld.com) by 14th April to give him time to check them and seek corrections of any error.

Alastair has agreed to be umpire. I did consider Ben but decided he might upset some players with his decision!!

Apologies but I won't be able to make it - complicated things such as Sons 18th Birthday and getting daughter back to University

Marc,
Sorry to hear that - children can be so lacking in understanding of a father's needs and rights. My children in the end got themselves back to University.
One place for grabs in this competition.

Quick reminder that army lists need to go to Tom. We can extend the deadline to Wednesday 16 April (t.elsworth@btopenworld.com).
I will try and publish runners and riders over the Easter holiday if we have had all the lists.

The army of the True Scots (Covenanter) challenges any heretic followers of the King of England (ie Scots Royalist) to fight the opening battle at the Oxford Competition (if the great, wonderful and gracious Bob allows us)
So all those of you with Scots Royalists step upto the plate

Dave, Not to have a chance of meeting Alasdair in the first round you will need to join the Oxford Club.

Re: Southern League FOG R 2014 at Oxford
Now that I have gone for Scots Covenanters the question is who has the most mounted,
who has bought the most cavaliers, it felt wrong at Challenge when Richard fielded and entirely mounted army, twice as many mounted as me what is the world coming to
so own up who has bought the most pesky cavaliers
if there are lots and lots of these I might agree with Don McHugh and suggest an independent Scottish Competition
by the way still waiting for a Scots Royalist volunteer for game 1
