but...you didn't wrote any new reports about your advance in the IC 2.0!
..but you are still right about this 'issue'. I didn't worked on it in the last time, but the new texts are on my priority to do list!

Hello there, thanks for the question!
Actually, I make thoughts about it, that it is time to continue the work on this mod.
Battlefield Europe time-taking events are history, so from that direction, I have time. On the other hand, in the last time, I tried to make fewer time to sit before the computer... Plus I have a lot of important things to do, so right now, I truly have no time for it. I hope, latest in a month I can continue with it. As there is at least one faithful Steel Warrior, who would play with it, it has the value to make it (and for me too
)!
What I can maybe do now, to work on the briefings - that takes not so much time at once, so it can be made step by step.

This is good news Uhu. I am very glad to hear from you on the forum. Your efforts are valued and appreciated always.
Old Timer Panzer General fan. Maybe a Volksturm soldier now. Did they let Volksturm drive Panzers?
Re: Royal Hungarian Army - Zrínyi Campaign, v0.9 (14.10.2014
I'm having a blast playing this. Love the challenge. Please release v2
I have a question, when I capture 2ns T-26s at Stanislau, in the first Barbarossa mission (Bar), is it correct that I don't get this unit added to my Corps?
Re: Royal Hungarian Army - Zrínyi Campaign, v0.9 (14.10.2014
So I finished the first period 1939-1942. I love all the battles, they are so personal, I'm espacaly loving the last one, were you have to sit ont your hands for sooo long. Is some of the best I have ever played, really nice work.

thank you, I'm happy, you like it!
- No, captured units will be not given to the player's core, you will get other gifts, later.
- About which last scenario do you speak? Okhtyrka?

Woo! Awesome news Uhu (i know, i am quite late to said news)
And you will be working on the briefings?! even better!
Looking foward to Zrinyi's next release!
Re: Royal Hungarian Army - Zrínyi Campaign, v0.9 (14.10.2014
Hello!
Yes, I working right now on the briefings!
Plus, I had an idea to change my core composition from 1942, which brought big difference in the gameplay and difficulty. So, I played the scns again, from that point. I'm now already in 1944 and enjoying it.
I made some minor modifications to several scns too, to make them better.
Still, the biggest part of the work will be with the late war scns - both with the what-if and the historical path. I hoped, I can use Nikivdd's, or McGuba's help in the scn making, but it seems, I have to make to work mostly alone.
Since playing and enjoying my self created scns, I have more confidence in my capalities. Still the testing will take a lot of
time, above the creating.

Re: Royal Hungarian Army - Zrínyi Campaign, v0.9 (14.10.2014
Some other interesting news: the two Hungarian late war top quality, but never finished armor project, the Tas panzer and Tas assault gun/tank hunter will have quite different stats - not just "Panther, Jagdpanther made by Hungary". I have read some interesting informations about the facts, which I will build in the mod. Therefore there will be a Tas (early) with thick armor but the same 75mm gun as for the Turán III. Later it will get the further developed Bofors 80mm gun. So, these armor will be a little weaker, than the German ones, but they will be pure Hungarian products (and because of the Turán/PaK upgrade tree, therefore also cheaper)!
...of course only, if you got a DV by defending the Hungarian industry from the swarms of the Anglo-American bombing squads!

Yes, mostly. In the meantime, the Tas assult gun got a better icon, thanks to Guillermo.flakfernrohr wrote:Uhu...........are these the same units you are referencing in your post?
And since than, using the new info about the 80mm Bofors gun, and th 75mm 43M gun, I made for both vehicle a modified icon, reflecting the shorter gun lenght.

http://www.aviastar.org/air/hungary/weiss_wm-23.php
A little bit more of history on the "Silver Arrow", the WM-23 that we discussed earlier
Apparently it used same weaponry as the He 112. 7.92mm Machine-guns in the hungarian 8×56mmR caliber.
Having that aircraft would probably require to make a reskined He 112 to fly hungarian colours. Maybe even add an "WM-23b" to represent the planned "Ezustnyil II" in full metal wings that was planned but discontinued.
How would one stat those aircraft would be up to you, probably give more of a movement bonus to the WM-23 (at cost of defense?). And the Ezustnyil II would probably be equal to the He 112, only being cheaper (to follow your "pure hungarian = cheaper" idea).
Of course i also remember your not so keen on placing this aircraft on the game, but still, it would be one more loveable piece of hungarian prototype/fantasy unit to be seen alive in PC
Re: Royal Hungarian Army - Zrínyi Campaign, v0.9 (14.10.2014
Oh btw Uhu, if you need help with proof reading the briefings (i remember you mentioned having help for IC) i can help you out with that. I wish i could also lend you my help in writing them, but i think your far more qualified to do it for obvious reasons
Anyway, i hope to hear news of this mod soon!

Re: Royal Hungarian Army - Zrínyi Campaign, v0.9 (14.10.2014
Sorry, as Bf 1.6 came out - McGuba is the sinner, I'm innocent
-, I had/have to use all my resources to play it.
After that, I will really working harder on this one.

I would like to try this mod, but unfortunately when the starting screen appears the program always breaks down
I cannot move even one unit. Do you have any idea to fix the issue? I have steam version and downloaded the most recent mod from the DMP website. I also tried to set the 1.14 settings but it didn't help.
Thanks for the help!
