Nice to see the Canucks get some love...Anfield wrote:Canadians first up. The only difference from the main British uniforms was that the Canadians ones were darker and more greenish. However ive taken to making the webbing and backpacks a brighter green to show the difference. I may try a mask and change the uniform colors but for now not working on it.
Thanks very much for these as I'm sure they'll be storming the beaches in my game shortly.

Re: Anfields Army Men Updated 2/9/14
After putting the Canadian infantry into the game so I could use them all the time in my core I thought they should get equipment to fight with! Now there doesnt seem to be a way, least that I can figure out, to have them with the Canadian flag or use their flag when taking towns, they have to be british. But with the word Canadian listed before the units in the menu it seems no big deal getting used to it. The Tac markings that would show they are Canadian sadly are on the front and back of tanks etc, so only option was the change the color of the equipment. So soon as I get the time ill post the 30 odd units I made for them.

Thanks so much for looking into the possibilities. As you are no doubt aware, the Canadians played an important role in Overlord (not to mention the liberation of Holland) but sadly most games overlook them as an invisible partner. If you can integrate them into PzC, that'd be a huge step forward in terms of realism.
Thanks again and best of luck with the project!

Re: Anfields Army Men Updated 2/9/14
Thanks! Here are the Canadian units. To use them youll have to copy/paste, then change the British equivalent files in the exp and efx files (dont change the country ID number to Canadian or you wont be able to use them in your core, they have to stay Britsh). However rename the units, the png files to Canadian. Instructions for that are in the sticky section of this forum, pls save and make a copy first before you edit stuff! lol
