Div C
Kmaher (Galatian) 36/40 vs Okie (Late Republican Rome) 29/29
The Romans got a little stretched and couldn't consolidate in time.

Wooded hills made it an uphill battle, excuse the pun, for the brave horsemen.

Macsen, Aristides and Philoi (Div B):
All you guys have slowed down on your games with me. I'm champing at the bit to wrap them up so I can lose to other players!
Best regards,
John

Division B
Londo (Graeco-Bactrian) 26/37 vs Turk1964 (Seleucid) 38/38
This battle report is brought to you by the Hindu elephant god Ganesha.
I began by deploying cavalry and MF in at attempt to spread out the Seleucids. But I didn't manoeuvre them well, and Turk annihilated most of them, building up a lead.
The Seleucid phalanx approached the much weaker Bactrian phalanx, and despite sitting on a hill, I was not feeling confident at all. Just as they got within range, an Indian archer unit disrupted one of the Seleucid pike blocks. In a desperate gamble, an elephant-mounted Bactrian general spurred his mighty steed forward into the disordered pikes.
Other Seleucid pikes joined the melee, but Turk was very unlucky in rolling, and they also were disrupted. The Bactrian phalanx came off the hill to support the elephants. The Seleucid centre wavered and then collapsed entirely.
The elephant general was undefeated: even a most unchivalrous rear attack by the Seleucid C-in-C failed to rout him. Praise be to Ganesha!

Re: Challenges & Results - Classical, season 10
I should rename myself Turk the Unlucky because that game was in the Bag and 1 solitary Elephant BG smashed my army to pieces and didnt even lose cohesion.Like i said Londo never seen pike smashed by a sole elephant unit like that and probably never will again. I am most cautious of Elephants now though. Well played and the Dice Gods definetly blessed you there.
