Hi Phil,

Any period is fine. At the moment I have 15 teams and Peter Butler playing solo - Peter is doing pool 2. However Dave Redhead has dropped out of one of the other teams so they also have a gap - in pool 2 (That is with Peter Card and Tony Parkin)

So you could join this team in pool 2 or join Peter in pools 1 or 3

Cheers

So I have a choice of 1, 2 or 3. I don't mind any and can bring an army for all 3 and see what is needed on the day.

Given that there are 10 out of the 15 entries are Roman let's hope they don't this weekend either!

I feel the odd one out in Pool 3 - all those lovely heavy foot BG's.

Definitely the odd one out Bob but only because you're the only one using Swiss - apart from the 3 French Ordonnance that is who will almost certainly be fielding Swiss too.

Unless I'm mistaken all of the armies will feature HF apart from the Ottomans and Albanians - and both of those could, but they probably won't.

What was peoples opinion of the venue?

I thought that although a bit rough and ready it had all the required attrubutes:
Easy close parking
Gaming tables near trade and toilets
Food on site

Yep very odd, that's probably the reason why no cider is named Welsh buffoon.

Cider's name was Gaymers, just for the curious.
