Are we seeing the establishment of a new tradition here?
Given last year where Dave Rubbish sulked off to sleep early form the bar because he needed to be rested. I think there is very little loyalty among GB.

Not really a 4 man team. More like a bad tempered tag team wrestling match. I'll be the one with the chair.

As usual. It would be nice if you could get your arse off it occassionally though Graham

Also, after dave's performance last year, see Dans post, he needs it more than you. He was outdrunk by the whole US team. The shame.

Now Graham is capable of outdrinking the whole US team single handedly. Especially since we don't have Jim "I care less than Graham about my liver" Hauber is not present.

But for the record last year. Dave R couldn't outdrink a SINGLE member of the US team.

What I should have said was Dave was outdrunk by every one of the US team, though being American each of you has the weight of 2 Daves.

Another reason was when Marc launched a glass of Red wine over my nice white shirt.

Yes, you two were in the who can spill most beer competition. You spilled more, but his attempt had more elan.

Our correspondent on the ground reports

Round 3
France meets GB at Waterloo. US Submarine strategy continues to work

GB 263
US 215
IT 208
SP 195
FR 173
ANZ 167
PT 148
Bar 143

Actually given the scale of the French defeat it looked more like Agincourt. SO Dave R must have given his Crispin's day speech.
And the US Submarine needs to torpedo HMS Britannia

I think GB defeats US in periods 2 and 4. Ruddock broken in 1 and bloody match in period 2.

The final game USA v GB was:

Dave Ruddock 16 : 22 Graham Unger
Graham Briggs 22 : 4 Marco Ulloa
Phil Powell 16 : 18 Dan Martz Senior
Ian Stewart 24 : 12 Dan Martz Junior

GB 78 : 56 USA

Much harder game this year than last year against the Bandits.

Congratulations to the Brits, 62 pt from the second its quite a large advantage.

I'd like that in 2013 there will be at least 1 pool of FOGR, the best will be: 1 ancient, 1 medieval, 1 reinassance and 1 napoleonics 8)

I am assuming you mean congrats to Dave, Phil, Graham and Ian. Rather than what you´ve actually posted.

Anyway, we have to go and celebrate. This involves Phil and a funnell.

Seeing as how the post was a response to a quote from "dave_r" I would have assumed that the identity of the "you" was fairly obvious, but then again, I should also have assumed that you (dave_r, Ruddock) would start celebrating early.

But in order to be sure, congratulations to you (dave_r, Ruddock) and those three other guys who obviously just rode along on your coattails. :D
