Roll Call 2011 - team-members wanted!
Hi guys,
Mature, "well-built" wargamers WLTM single (temporarily or otherwise) FOG and DBM players! GSOH essential, must have own army and be willing to travel to Roll Call.
WAR are bringing at least 6 players to Roll Call - 4 DBMM and 2 FOW (maybe more - two for certain). In order to get a team or two together, therefore, we are looking for volunteers, or to hire ourselves out as mercenaries, as teams for Roll Call need to be 4 players in 4 different competitions.
At the moment, we have:-
WAR 1 (probable!) DBMM Tim Child, FOW Ian Colby, FOG:R Greg Mann - 1 more muppe... sorry "volunteer" required!
Remaining to form basis of WAR 2 or available for mercenary hire: DBMM: Steve Rathgay, John Hickman, Jon Smith
FOW: Mike Parker
No promises of glory - but we don't believe in slipping quietly away!
Give me a shout on t_and_e.child[at]tiscali.co.uk if you're interested!

Thanks to all who replied across various lists and message-boards - particularly Dave Redhead from here who has made the grievous error of joining WAR 2.
John Hickman and Jon Smith are still available for selection by other teams looking for mercenary heroes! Drop me a line and I'll put you in contact.

In fact the Halifax A team is now coming to Rollcall under a different guise.

There were only seven entries for DBMM last year, in that case are all periods in FOG viable as it stands?bddbrown wrote:Hi,
All rules sets other than FoG are looking very healthy at the moment. For some reason FoG is looking very lightly subscribed. There is still space available in all the periods and it is not too late to enter. At this rate there are going to be more entries in DBMM than FoG!
