A huge new update is available. Grab the latest version from the first post in this thread. Remember to uninstall previous builds.

General
· Added "New equipment available" screen between missions in campaign.
· Improved Combat details screen
· Added Battle history tab to unit details
· Implemented battle history
· Implemented awards
· Implemented heroes (only random heroes so far)
· Implemented detailed kills statistics for units
· Implemented bonus Waffen-SS units

Main map
· Sliding movement (speed can be set in Settings)
· Movement trajectory indication

Is it all right?

Than you could have a corrupt download, best is to re-download and try again...

Than you could have a corrupt download, best is to re-download and try again...

This is my first attempt to work with Panzer Corps. I have downloaded the file and have my serial number and password but can't figure how to proceed to unzip and then install the file.

Use the Password in the first post of the thread to unzip/unrar/extract the installer. Type the PW by hand instead of using copy/paste!

You need WinRar or a similar decompression program to unzip/unrar/extract the launcher/installer.

If after trying to type the Password/PW by hand and the rar files still gives a corrupt error, you probably have a corrupt download, in this case please re-download and try again first.

After extracting just start the installer and follow the instructions, it will ask for the serial number, mailed to you personally, and than you will be on your way installing and playing the game.

Guys,
Love the game so far. Question, with the new beta's, is there an area you would like to try play through more than others? I am running the campaigns from the start when a new beta comes, and although i don't have as much time as I would like, I try to finish through. But, if there is an area you would prefer to test out, I will go over that instead.

Try out some PBEM games please, is it easy enough, stable? Really try some MP and let us know how you feel about it playing some other players using the server based system.

Yes PBEM is a good area to test, The other is overall campaign balance is also a good area for feedback on. Do you get enough/too much prestige etc.

Basically everything needs to be looked at as we're nearly done and any issues however minor reported.

I've been trying to open the latest version of the beta (RC1), but after it asks for my password and appears to start the extraction, I get the following error messages:

A box entitled: 'WinRAR: Diagnostic messages' pops up with the two following messages:

-- CRC failed in the encrypted file PanzerCorpsRC1.exe. Corrupt file or wrong password

-- Unexpected end of archive

I am absolutely positive I typed in the correct password, the one beginning with sli-rc-pc-........

My version (at the bottom of the start menu) is .99.

Any suggestions?

Trouble Shooting
If you have problems with the password make sure you have not copied any trailing spaces. If this fails try typing it manually remembering it is case sensitive.
