To be honest there were more lose ends than we realised so we were not able to go with the majority. Getting the system to work with RoR and without it has been tricky and taken up more time than we had planned. We were just not happy with the state the game as in to release today. The guys who get the Beta will see what we mean. We ran out of time to add pop ups to explain all the new features and the menu flow is less than ideal.
This is one of the best games I've purchased in years. It is what I've always wanted in an ancients computer game. So, please, take your time with the expansion. I'd much prefer getting a polished product later, than something that is full of flaws now. Dare I say it...with age comes wisdom.
To paraphrase Oscar Wilde: "There are two great dissapointments in life. Not getting what you want and getting what you want."

If it's not working then I guess the process for adding you to the beta group didn't work in some way. I don't have access to the beta list for FoG from here, so unfortunately you'll need to wait until the sun comes up in Europe for Iain to take a look at what is going on.
Cheers
Pip
