Well, I went onto the BHGS webiste and went to the online form to fill in.

It is going to cost 50 Euros to enter and £30 for the tour shirts..... How much is that exactly then? i.e. how much do I write on the cheque...

Its largely because the Europeans won't convert to the pound  ,I'll get it changed to pounds at the latest exchange rate

Given the way the Euro is going could you wait a bit longer? What is the deadline?

I can wait but I should give us enough time to do the money transaction,by us I mean JD.
Also if you want a BHGS shirt I will need as much notice as poss to get them ordered and delivered then get them to you as I'm not able to take them out with me this year

Take them to the Challenge, I suspect most people will either be going or have a friend who will be able to collect from them.

You an I don't have any friends Dave. We could ask Hammy, he doesn't have any either.

I love the way the site says what competition you are entered into, and how fat you are prepared to admit to being as well.. .

At present only 19 players from 5 country (in 2008 in Helsinky there where 8 from 3) , it's a pity :(

No one from USA ? France ? Spain ? South Africa ?

Actually, at Helsinki there were 13 players from four countries (five if you include the drunken rabble North of the border as a country).

Of course, we don't know how often the website has been updated, so there may be more, but considering the 50 (about) players at Washington, that is indeed a poor show.
And NO ONE in DBMM
That doesn't surprise me one bit.

No one from Spain I know of and anybody that may have been dithering won't risk it with all the strikes and stuff.
